GUNS 2 ROSES - UK'S NO1 GNR TRIBUTE BAND

When I met Axl the only people that were there, were Axl, Beta, Geo, a couple of my friends, there were no girls. If you think I'm lying then fair enough, but I'm really not, the two guys I was with are actually members on this forum, so feel free to ask them. I met Baz and the rest of his band at Nottingham, again, there were no girls with them, it was just them and Geo.
I didn't take my camera due to the fact they had been banned at every other venue they had played in and I didn't want to keep walking back to my car to put it away. I'm sure cameras were banned at every venue, but it was a while ago so I don't remember.

If this was the time you mean then there were more than 5 people there. You said so yourself...

i met him, shook his hand twice. No one has shook my hand since!!
He was in a very good mood.
We talked about how a couple of us were going to 10 shows in total. and how good they had all been.
He was grinning his ass off, he seemed very pleased that we were enjoing it that much.
Even when he signing things for other people he continued to talk to us 3.
He signed for about 18 people in total.
He then came back to where i was, chatted briefly a bit more.
Then told us he had to go.

He was very personal when talking to the 3 of us, more so then anyone else.
He made direct eye contact when talking to me, it was very scary, but it was such a good feeling.

He really lived upto and way beyond my expections.

then that is a meet and greet thing as i said earlier. Hanging out with the band is being personally invited on tour with them. You didn't do that! Judging from what i've read if anything you were "aquainted" with Bumblefoot as was 99% of the GNR world at the time via his myspace cos he's a friendly guy and you followed them around the UK as any fan would.

This is what I said, and all of that is true, a meet a greet is a few second kinda thing, it was longer than a few seconds.

And when I met Axl, it was not some "meet and greet thing", I spent a while talking to him and even his manager, Beta.

There were no girls with Axl, I said the only people with him were Beta and Geo, he signed things for other people, but they weren't with him. Why are you going out of your way to prove me wrong? Why are you so bothered that I did meet him?

Cos you made out earlier that you'd hung out with GNR like its an cool everyday thing when infact you met them no different to the majority of other people who paid money to see them then stalked them after the shows and when you had your breif Axl enounter you were as star struck as anyone else.
I just find it odd you never mentioned all this detail before. And the fact you said it wasn't a meet and greet when clearly it was after a show. I'm not going outta my way to prove you wrong and i believe you met them.
I'm just curious as to why you hit back with the post earlier that "you have hung out with GNR" just (cos i was saying people were jealous that g2r_axl has been vip for this and that) when in actual fact all you did was just got lucky at a show. Read back on your previous posts, you were clearly trying to make it out bigger than it actually was.

I didn't say you were personally jealous i said people in general probably were.
Yes people got to meet GNR but i was pointing out how many were vip / backstage, more than just one off meetings or have worked with members of the band? Not many, if any on this forum! Thats what i was directing it all at.

Yep i used to write stuff with Crash who now performs some of it in his new band Vytl Syne. Certain songs were in his previous band Renegade Playboys (the latter band i would've became part of but had other commitments) who in their heyday supported the likes of Dragonforce  and The Darkness.

I saw you guys in TJ's Newport in S. Wales a couple of moths ago, and I must say, I thought it was the best night out I've had in a long time. I thought the band sounded exactly the same as the originals, and I was just totally blown away! I thought Axl was absolutely amazing, and put as much energy into his performance as the real one lol. I thought the band was really tight, and it was just an incredible performance overall! Please come back soon!

Hey dude can you get a gig for Derby organised we've got shitloads of tribute acts playing here ranging from Genesis to Red hot chilli peppers and U2 in between you guys would rock the f*ck out of this place and go down a treat if any off your mates go past the Flowerpot pub in Derby they'll see all the tribute act posters and no lie more and more go up each day.  I'll take a photo for you guys to prove it and see what tribute acts are making there money here if you want just ask!!!!
