^ Fair comment, but he was an america basher (and world basher), and therefore made catcherintherye 'sick'. That's what prompted me to think he should fuck off.

he wasn't an america basher. to say he was an america basher implies he bashed everything american. which is completely false. he loved america and was dissapointed at how some of it had turned out. "the experiment was a failure. let's start over".

he bashed what he believed to be wrong and promoted what he thought to be correct. If something he believed to be wrong happened to be whatever "america" stood for at the time then that was unfortunate.

I always considered unpopular speech to be an intrinsic piece of "democracy".
