My band is gonna play Nightrain, any one got any tips about the song? Is it hard to play together? I can play the guitar parts...

We are also searching for a name, any ideas?

Depends on what the line-up of your band is? Who is lead guitar, who does the rhythm parts etc. Make sure you make your own version of Nightrain instead of exactly copying the original. That way you make the song your own and it's more fun (my personal opinion).

On your question: "Is it hard to play together?" well that depends on how tight your band already is. I have good eyes but I can't see how tight your band plays from here.  :P

Most importantly is to have fun!

Lead guitar and vocals?!!

Good luck!

Nightrain is a pretty easy song - the intro doodle is just the same as the vocal chorus so you can't get lost there. The verse riff is just repeated over and over so that is fairly simple too!

The solo isn't too long or challenging, so ya should get on fine with that too

What do you mean play together?? All you gotta do is keep in time with the drums! When your practising at home, just keep playing along to the actual song and get the timings right. If everyone does that, then when you come to jam you all know what to do at what time  ;)

My band plays Nightrain and we play it as two 'guitarists'... so we split the solos... I play both Izzy and Slash's middle solos and the other guy does the outro...

we rock on that tune and it's usually our last song.  We play originals and covers.

www.powertabs.net does best.

Or buy the offical tab book which is roughly 95% correct.
