Well no here is trying to bash Britian, but he likes to always make snide comments about Americans.  But he can go to another forum that doesn't celebrate a American band.

I insult people from all over this fair land on a daily basis. The only people who are immune are scousers Everton fans.
I hope, I do not wait.

Does somebody torture you whilst force feeding you Chinese Democracy!?

His point was that the list of things invented by the British is significantly larger than that of the USA's .

Haha, you get it ;)

As a full fledged american I can't help but agree with brits on this. A lot of really fucking dumb people live in the usa. It's sad but true. Here it is election day in my country and their is a very real chance that a man who wants to return things to how they were when bush jr was in office may actually win. I have read so many posts by family members and friends talking about how wonderful romney is. And how evil obama is. I have heard him called a communist, socialist, racist, that only wants to kill babies and take away guns, and also wants wants rich people to pay for poor people. It is so fucking stupid, and people belive this shit. Obama has never said anything of the sorts, but yet the voting public thinks he has. It makes me ashmed to be american and makes me ashamed to be white. Greatest country on earth? Maybe, but it sure as hell has a lot of things that need changing.

Thanks, not all of us are "stupid Americans." But unfortunatly most of us are. I don't have any solutions to fix this mess, but I also don't have any delusions that America is just so much better than the rest of the world. And the fact remains that most of the voters have no idea of the issues or facts. They just base their entire vote on guns, abortion, and being a good Chrisitian. And the sad thing about that is none of that is ever going to change. No canidate, republican or democrat is going to take away guns or end abortion. But so many people act like they will. I am by no means a hard core democrat, I just think for myself. And that is the biggest problem I have with the republican side. They do not think for themselves, they vote for who their daddy, preacher, or whomever else tells them to. Because that's the way they were raised. Not all of them of course, but more than you can imagine.

Here is a quick run down of the repulican base. White, mostly southern states, religous fanatics, don't beileve in evolution or anything else that science has proved that causes trouble with the church, has lots of guns, don't like killing babies (because thats what abortion means to them), mostly little to no college education, and is afraid that Obama is going to give all their tax money to black people (because all black people are lazy and don't work.)

Again not all repulicans are this way, but it's true more often than not. This is America in 2012 people. Severly divided and unfortunatly I feel that the idiots are winning.

Gotta agree with you.

I avoided discussing politics with friends and family and voted my own way but I do know MANY people who couldn't be bothered to vote at all. I am from the Northeast U.S. where the religious right doesn't have a very loud voice but to call it like I see it, many declared Republicans I know are very emotionally bitter about all the "wastrels living off of the dole because they don't want to work and who are always stealing and on drugs or drunk. Or else they're queer." They equate "liberals" with facilitating these lifestyle "abominations" and funding it with tax revenues paid for by working people and businesses.

On the other hand, I've met and intentionally avoided, whenever possible, actual wastrels living off of the dole, working under the table sometimes as dealers, scrounging for cash anyway they can get it for crack and pills and fighting amongst themselves. Even small town police forces, nationwide, are dealing with repeat calls to the same households or drinking establishments, for domestic abuse, disorderly conduct and child endangerment, and drunk driving - just look at any published police log in whatever newspapers are left. It actually is a small percent of U.S. citizens, and not limited to urban areas, who are very expensive to municipal economies.

I'm not convinced U.S. is entirely different from other countries but it sure is fucked up.

I know it is just awful. But at least we don't have to worry about that for at least another four years.

On an unreleated topic, I fully admit that the democratic party also has ugly skeltons in the closet. But it seems to me more often than not that the people that vote democratic tend to be more open minded and free thinking. While that is not the case with the republican base what so ever.

Court orders Ohio woman to wear ‘idiot’ sign

Shena Hardin was ordered by an Ohio court to stand at an intersection wearing a sign warning “idiots” who drive around school buses, WLWT 5-TV reports.
Hardin was caught on camera, via cell phone video, driving on the sidewalk to avoid waiting behind a school bus, picking up handicap children.
According to court documents obtained by WLWT 5-TV, Hardin has been ordered to stand at an intersection for two days wearing a sign that will read, “Only an idiot drives on the sidewalk to avoid a school bus.”
She has to wear the sign from 7:45 to 8:45 A.M. both days. Her license has been suspended for 30 days and she also had to pay $250 in court costs.

I'm always up for bashing religion.

Is Jeebus still turning water into wine? If he is, can somebody ask him to come visit me?

He is still alive, isn't he?

Balls to that, I've been turning water into piss for years and I've never had 12 adoring fans follow me around incessantly asking me to wash their feet.
How about a pint of me?
