I've been working on this for the last few months and I have finally completed my chinese democracy the movie. I will be posting the trailor on youtube within the next day or two, then within the next couple of weeks I will have the whole movie available
Here's a little info on it, Chinese Democracy has always reminded me of a film score or soundtrack, and I feel is very similiar to the wall in a lot of respects (yes the wall is better, but never the less). Since my first listen in 2008, Ive had images floating around my mind, and the lack of any videos confirmed my need to do something on my own. So I took concert footage from this past us tour, and some shots from rock am ring in 06 as well as rock in rio 01, and synched them ip with the album versions, like a music video. But obviously some songs have been neglected live, so I had to come up with my own interpertation. I also included all three guitarests current solos, and one band jam, to give the film a true current gnr feel.
The story (yes it has a story) revolves around three seperate charecters bruce lee as shackler, godzilla, and of course axl. While the three stories are not related, they tell complete tales, through the music of chinese democracy. Part one is shackler's journey, part 2 is godzilla's story and part 3 is the untold history of guns n rose and axl himself, through this fans eye. Other icons making apperances are james bond, jason voorhies, the pink panther, chuck norris, and kareem abdul-jabbar.
