Ya, but he was talking in the context of Nolan doing another one. As far as I know, WB are already pitching ideas for the inevitable reboot.

It's not gonna be a "finality", I'm guessing it'll be something like TDK, but instead, Batman is hailed as a hero or something. That would also give TDKR some nice duality with TDK, which would be pretty cool

Granted, they were mostly studio executives so it could have been tears due to how terrible the film was () but yes, that's what I heard.

Apparently, the screening went down well and apparently they gave it a standing ovation.

Take all this with a grain of salt, etc etc...
