Kiss and Motley Cure to tour together?

Such news has emerged after sources at music website www.bravewords.com reported that the two rock giants, KISS and Crue, are preparing to team-up for a massive tour in fall 2012. The news has now also been echoed by KISS fansite www.deucenews.com.
Although nothing has been officially confirmed by either band, the tour would see Motley Crue supporting headline shows from KISS who are just nearing the completion of their new studio album 'Monster'. Earlier this week KISS guitarists Paul Stanley and Tommy Thayer released a video updating fans on the progress of 'Monster'. Stanley revealed: “It's almost done and it's awesome. It's by far the best thing we've done in I don't know how long."
The theatrical tour would also follow Motley Crue's confirmed February 2012 Las Vegas residency. Baring in mind that Crue's Nikki Sixx did reveal that the Vegas residency would kick-start the biggest years of the band's career, could these rumours become a reality??

K, I"ve seen both Motley Crue and Kiss and I can say for a fact that Kiss will blow MC away.

First of all, Vince Neil cannot sing anymore. He's overweight and slow. Get ready to sing alot because most of the singing is done by the crowd. Vince will sing something and then hold the mic out to you! lol It's just sad.

Tommy, Nikki and even Mick, who's like this tiny man, can play the shit out of all the MC songs, past and present, but anything older than the last few cds, Vince cannot sing the fast lyrics anymore. I've seen Motley Crue 4 times since 2000 and it's the same thing everytime.

Kiss on the other hand, are like they were the first time I saw them in 1977. They can still rock and kill every song. Paul Stanley with his new hip, can still do those jumps and wear those awesome high boots. The pyro stuff is awesome.

I'm passing this time, because I'm seeing other bands this summer, but if Vince can change his way of singing or maybe take some oxygen like Axl Rose, then maybe I would consider seeing MC again.
