I was actually alive when AFD was released, unlike must of you on this board anymore. Get it straight: Axl doesn't make decisions for his fans.... no REAL artist does.....
What does that have to do with anything? Piers Moron is talking about the Axl Rose of now, which means we are all entitled to our opinion. Secondly, Piers Moron is a man who may have forgotten 'more than' us 'kids half his age will ever know about music or anything else for that matter' but he is also a man who ran one of the sleaziest newspapers in the world, and released falsified photographs of British soldiers abusing Iraqis because it would sell newspapers. You cannot trust anything the rubber faced prick says. I also highly doubt he is an authority on music just looking at him. He has had a privileged upbringing; going to see a Harlem Boys Choir gig would be considered 'dangerous' by this man.
Furthermore, as a general point, all these people who say Axl doesn't make decisions for his fans - fine. That's fine. But when those fans get pissed off at the decisions he does make, they have every right to be. If it is not a reciprocal relationship, then it should not matter to Axl or any of his fans what other fans think, and it should be left at that. Debate the decisions, yes, but do not get pissy over other people's opinions.
