I got banned from cd a while ago as well, after only one post  :lol:

I figured they would be mostly positive. Maybe Axl is only reading that forum, that is where he went to answer those questions a few years back so it would make sense.

Where did he find all those people he's referring to? We're in one of the biggest Guns n' Roses' forums and there must have not been more than 6-7 people who actually came out and supported his decision not to attend the ceremony. :hmpf

(sigh) I'll try to construct a definition and provide a thorough explanation:

"The 'newgnr' is an abbreviation used for the band Guns N' Roses, referring to any lineup after 1996, but most usually referring to the most current lineup. In the evolving body of GN'R, the turning point was 1996 and the departure of Slash - this event by itself marks a beginning of a new era of the band. Thus, since the term "OldGNR" usually stands for any GNR lineup including Slash, the term "NewGNR" can be used for any lineup without Slash, with the exception of the 1985 lineup."
