what's that please?
Back in 1995 b4 the big split. I worked on a Project for MCA to feature band info and all the music videos on 1 CD, As well as Robert John to Put all his official slides from his book.
It was ground breaking at the time - Full screen Video on Windows 3.1 / 95
Concept CD Was done - and submitted to MCA London.
And then fell to one side.
I still have Masters of all the Vids. And the letter stating I could have access to all material do as we wanted. I got a list of all the footage ever done (inc. Live) and televised / PPV footage that was available.
Then Robert John wanted to do just his Photos on a CD, Once I forgot about time zones and woke him up at 4am. He thought I was Axl.
Then we were going to do a scaled down version of the video product to add to the end of the current CD Lineup. Then may be a Greatest Hits was talked about back then to include this. And then the internet Came! Forums / Website etc.
Whats sad is that we had something that was cool / unique and could have been rolled out to other bands. But we picked Guns as we were all fans.
The Robert John thing - just didn't feel right.
So its there on a shelf at home.
