He says "Slash and Duff never talked about reunion"
Which means outside  Steven ... no one else wants reunion.
So why always putting blame on Axl?

I was listening to HS live, and found this very interesting.

Howard's producer said that he's been in contact was Axl's publicist for the past 6 months to try and make this work. She is supposedly a big fan of the show. Bababooey explained that no one but Howard is gonna give him 90 minutes to speak his mind.

However, the way Howard conducts his interviews, and the questions he was asking Eddie Trunk about Axl, there would be a big problem. But Howard does take "no" for an answer eventually, so who knows....

IMO the interview would be epic for Axl fans. Howard is the best is the best in the biz, and fans would learn more about Axl in 15 minutes than they have in 28 years.

I think that it would be best for Axl to come to HS show to sort all this shit up and answer all the questions regarding GNR break-up and to finally clear the reason why he hates Slash and what happened between them....

Wouldn't it be HILARIOUS if this was all just a big work, and Slash and Axl secretly love each other. They couldn't be arsed writing and touring with Guns, so they went off and did their own thing, knowing if they pretended to feud they would get constant media interest. Yeah, that would be brilliant. Just like when HHH pretended to be friends with Eugene and then beat the piss out of him in a cage, except the other way round. Just remember - YOU READ IT HERE FIRST.

I don't get the so-called GNR fans.

It has come to a point where I actually find the attitude of most "fans" to be sick and plain disgusting, and reminds me of my nosy neighbour... the poor old woman who nobody likes cause all she does is gossip and talk about other neighbours when they're not present, even sharing private details some naive ones made the mistake to hare with her.

Most fans seem to have a very hard time understanding basic concepts like "privacy." Hey! If I were a parent and my kid's friend from school had their parents getting a divorce, am I entitled to know the details just because we've been to PTA meetings and have had them over for a bbq a couple times?

The fact that Axl is a "public person" (let's say "popular" instead, as he doesn't seem to enjoy sharing his privacy with everyone out there) doesn't mean you, as a fan, have the right to know details of his personal life.

What happened between Axl and Slash is Axl and Slash's business, not yours, not mine. And having gone to shows, having bought t-shirts and albums doesn't make you a part of the relationship they had as friends or band mates.

So, what's a GNR fan? Someone who has enjoyed their music at some point in time? Someone who knows the brand of underwear they used circa 1988? Someone who owns every single and album and demo ever recorded by the band? Someone with lots of tour t-shirts?

Get over yourselves, "fans," enjoy the music, that's what matters, be it the old albums and or the new ones. Enjoy what you have and stop thinking you're part of something that's only in your head.

When Duff was on the Metal Show Eddie asked him about a reunion. He said it could happen since all the original members were still alive and it gives the fans hope.
I don't think Eddie's ever asked Slash, but Steven is up for it. Steven was the one who said Axl should forgive and forget whatever happened with Slash and that Axl probably doesn't even remember what happend? I'm pretty sure Axl remembers every last detail.
After Axl said to TMZ not in the lifetime about a reunion, it ain't gonna happen.

Slash & Duff were willing do it, under some circumstances. They never said they wanted to, but they never said they didn't want to.

Axl is not going to go on the HS show and spill his heart out about Slash and the old band break up etc.

He has had the last 16 years to do it but really hasn't so he clearly has no interest in making it public.

It's amazing people still think this is going to happen so many years after the break up, Axl didn't even promote CD for fuck sake so the chances of him becoming Mister Tell All is slim to none.
clean your ears...Nickelback's guitar work is awesome.

I think Axl has some valid reasoning for that. If only some people were willing too listen.

Axl's already said about a reunion "Not in this lifetime", so I think the whole reunion talk needs to end.

I can see maybe Slash, Duff, and Steven doing something or even Matt, which is like RV, but Axl will never reunite with the original members and I think not showing up at the HOF show proves that.

Axl said he's very happy with his new GNR and I think he has every right to be. Lots of bands have broken up and never gotten together again, but continue making music with new bands.

I think since Axl's moved on I think we fans need to also. Nothing we want or say is going to change Axl's mind.

To me as long as Axl's making music and performing, I'm okay with it.

I wonder if Steven even knows what happened. I mean, he wasn't around during the break-up. He hates the break-up, but he wasn't there when it happened.
If an album comes out, then buy it. If there's a concert you can go to, then go to it. You're not owed another record. You're not owed any inside stories. You're not owed the band to be managed by people you approve. It's just electronically recorded vibrations that you happen to like.

God Howard Stern is so annoying...Eddie trunk is trying to say something genuinely interesting and then Stern just cuts him half way with ques like 'Is Axl Fat?' 'Does He Still have Cornrows?'. And most of his comments are obv anti-Axl, throwing all the blame on Axl for the reunion. Before trunk came in they made it sound like if axl goes 'Lets do It' all the others would jump in.

And they apparently still think buckethead is in the band.
