K, I dvr d the Hall of Fame show last night because I only wanted to see GNR.

I watched about a minute of the GNR performance, but I couldn't get passed Myles's singing. He is horrible. I'm sorry but his voice sounds very nasal and please if he was trying to sing like Axl it didn't work.

Well, even Axl at his weakest sounds still better than Myles' version of GNR songs.

thats subjective but for example listen to ANY RQ 2011/12 Axl and i'd prefer Myles anytime over that.

Everyone is misssing the point, yes myles can sing gnr songs pretty damn well. Just like the guys in newgnr can play classic gnr songs well. But their is more to guns n roses than being able to play or sing well, it was the attitude. When guns n roses came out they were diffent, they had that little something extra that legends are made of. Imo real gnr w oill always be axl, slash, izzy, and duff. Not anything against steven but he isnt what made gnr special, it was the other guys. So taking any of those ingrediants out and the bamd changes drastically. So imo any attempts to say this guy is better than that guy is moot and pointless. Will classic gnr ever reunite, prolly not, but thats not all axls fault. Slash could try harder to mend fences, hell all of them could try harder to fix this thing, but they dont. That says a lot to me. So as a dan do whatever tou want, and support whomever you want, I choose to follow axl and new gnr, but I also respect and appreciate everything slash is doing. It's only rock n roll people.

idk this has been eating away at me, it seems like either side isn't gonna hit huge success without each other. Drives me nuts cause the vocals in the new slash MK song fit axl perfectly, along with some of the songs from vr. I wish big red would just drop all this shit, slash ain't on heavy drugs anymore and axl seems like he has his bipolor sort of undercontrol.Plus this shit happened over 15 years ago, their older now. Idk after years of being a big fan of his that changed after watching the hof. I think I'm done with axl, I know here in gr michigan he got slammed on the radio when he made his anouncement. Oh well, I'm pretty sure he isn't gonna come out with another cd, and if he does it isn't gonna be hard rock.(Like he said in his interview, hes over that). So F U Axl for not growing up and putting that stuff in the past, your more of a mental case than I thought

Is it just me or the replies get more stupid by the day?

This guy here wants Axl to reunite, actually wants him to put out music similar to old Guns (not that there would be anything wrong with that), won't even give an album a proper chance because it isn't ''hard rock'',... and yet he tells Axl to fuck off for not ''putting stuff in the past''.

I guess Axl could never be as grown up as you, dude.  :thumbsup:
