Myles is doin' a great job here. It's a shame Axl rejected this induction but the guys deserve to celebrate what Guns n' Roses did as a band and they want to do it rockin'. I can't imagine a better way to do it and If Axl doesn't want Myles is there for a great job.

C'mon now all Slash's haters and/or Myles Kennedy's haters come here to blame this performance...

Hahahah, I just copied and paste my copie since it was the wrong thread and found this one

Still up!! Watched the RRHOF induction on the stream and that was awesome! That was GN'R!!! Oh, well Myles on vocal did even me shock at first I thought "NOOOOOO!"......but what else? He did a decent job. Most commenters loved it. Damn.....stupid Axl this would have been iconic!! Duff, Slash and even Steven did decent speeches. Matt rambled on and I thought: 'shut up, shut up, shut up!"
The band was cheered on and people booo-ed Axl wasn't there. Well, it is was it is.

Damn, they broke up the long version of Paradise City on the stream......shit!

Kittay, thanks again for the link!

Only audio, quality sucks, but better than nothing I guess.

Band sounds great, and myles did a good job. I'm glad he didn't rape SCOM with a 7 foot dildo like fergie does when she performes the song with Slash.

At least Fergie doesnt sound like a cat trying to get out of a dog's mouth. He sounded awful, simply put. Bach would have sounded much better, but Slash wanted his friend there so he could promote his album and tour.

Interesting point. I can't tell if that was indeed Slash's intention but there has definitely been enormous amount of self-promotion since the HOF announcement.

The only reason, at this point, under the circumstances, in my opinion whether under the guise of "for the fans" or whatever justification of the moment, for anyone to continue to ask, suggest or demand a reunion are misguided attempts to distract from our efforts with our current lineup of myself, Dizzy Reed, Tommy Stinson, Frank Ferrer, Richard Fortus, Chris Pitman, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal and DJ Ashba.

There's a seemingly endless amount of revisionism and fantasies out there for the sake of self-promotion and business opportunities masking the actual realities. Until every single one of those generating from or originating with the earlier lineups has been brought out in the light, there isn't room to consider a conversation let alone a reunion.

The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think
Oh by the way, which one's Pink?

Slash is incredibly good at self promotion, or at least has been over the past few years. I don't know if I can really blame the guy though, because although I would like to think that artistic integrity would be my main 'thing', if the cheques were big enough, and I had two children, I think I would seriously consider 'selling out'. But is this the real reason Axl disinclined to accept his invitation? I don't know.

Just a thought, he's a older musician who is pursuing a solo career despite being somewhat on the fringes of mainstream relevance, at least in regards to drawing power. At the moment can anyone say whether or not he could headline a theater tour? I don't really have a problem with his "selling out", he's free to do all the self promotion he can.  In the end it is a business after all and his musical projects continue to be of good quality.

I can't argue with this point. Reading back over that last post of mine, it came across as more negative than I meant it to. I was trying to tie in the fact that he is promoting his music as a business with the fact that he is obviously more motivated by money now that he has a family, as any decent person would be.

Have you heard Bach lately? The live videos I've seen of him the past few years have shown him to be out of key fairly often and being forced to scream to try and hit high notes. Even his latest solo album doesn't exactly show him in top form. I'm a fan of Sebastian Bach but I can't think of any vocalist who is declining as quickly as him, of course this is just my opinion.
