the awkward Axl behaviour with the HOF and fans of the AFD/UYI fans was a huge downie for tons of us. its as easy as that, and i've chosen not to just ignore but to comment on it. others dont say anything, others are more in the bashing game, so what? people are different, so are fans!

comment on it, you are on the hunt for everything that's negative about Axl so you could point it out. It is impossible that since HOF (which had a devastating impact on you) you suddenly found so much fault in everything Axl does. Again - by all means DO IT! ruining it for fans who want to enjoy it? there probably is truth in it for the blind-Axl-followers category of fans, even for Axl himself as he would LOVE everyone to "move on" with the HOF thing...smth. he mentioned in the 1st letter before the HOF even happened. so disappointed fans should just shut up, yes? or we should just turn around and support everything he does just to keep going? eh! people can feel free NOT to read any negativity or contstructive critics, there are other boards, too! same goes for any fan off course.

constructive critisism. There isn't half as many blind Axl followers as there is blind Axl bashers. If you need to take it out on Axl - DO IT! Yes I do. And no I don't. I've never said I did. But judging by your replies you don't even understand the point I'm trying to make. I talk about what I think is going on and what you and some others are doing and you come back and repeat the same thing all over how Axl did this and that.

I don't care about the stupid pm's. It's a discussion board, doesn't matter how many people are involved. I chose to ignore it because I have no intention discussing this privately. You pm whoever you want, I'm not the guy for that.

Of course I did. I enjoy Guns N' Roses. I like to talk about music, GN'R, Axl Rose, former and current members. But I don't spend my time on Black Sabbath forums talking why I think Ozzy has become an idiot. But again, if you feel the need to - DO IT! Just don't be all butthurt when I find it ridiculous.
but as for me i've been in this forum not too long after it started and became some kind of friend with the admin (we were the first to record/transfer and spread the vma02 high quality audio by the way. oh, and by the way i saw GN'R live in 1991 with Izzy).

I understand it is not a big
interest to you but I will go ahead and share that. I joined in 2006 and I started following the band in 1999.
back then (2001/02) it was some different with information, we've hardly had anything regarding the new band, let alone new music or any form of video! that changed over the years, unfortunately not in a cool direction (to me), basically starting with the CD album and lots of Axl's decisions and his voice problems. that being said i did enjoy lots of the new stuff, too, incl. the decision for the more recent 3x webcasts 2011/12. so its not "just negative", i'm just still around and do post some here and there.
I don't understand why you are telling me that. I'm sorry it turned you away from GN'R. I guess your ultimate goal now is for everyone to share your point of view. I repeat, keep in mind I'm not trying to convince you anything.
add that the more you're calling '"negative" posts to me are more objective and realistic as you probably would ever agree.
If it's objective to you to bash everything related to Axl (I have already named all the categories in one of my previous posts) than you are more deluded than I thought. Objective and realistic doesn't go hand in hand with you personal opinion. You call his behaviour awkward for example, I call it being himself. You call it voice problems, I call it aging. Some, don't know if you, call it fat - I call it normal weight for a man his age. Some call it bald, I call it a receeding hair-line. Some call it a disappointment, I call it staying true to what you believe in. And it goes on... If you get a kick out of it (not just you particulary) - DO IT! I only wanted to share what I think of such actions.
