Balls? What balls? Izzy...pfff....a man with balls doesn't wait for what others decide. He speaks for himself. Not via a former band mate. Izzy...THE man I have always adored; what a disappointment..... .

I like Izzy, but basically he says almost nothing. Kind of what Axl said when the induction news got out. Honoured, a victory for the fans etc.

If he was really waiting until the last minute to see what the rest would do (i.e. if Slash & Axl would like to both attend or even play some song), then these words from Slash & Matt really screwed things up (about Izzy won't come, so it's useless anyway to talk to Axl about the RNRHOF).

Besides that he could have played a role in getting Axl & Slash together in a room, since he's on good terms with both of them. But he couldn't be bothered.

That's also possible. That's so annoying: everything is possibly possible.  But still he could have made the statement by himself. Anyway, in a week everything will be back to normal. Like talks about new material and such.... :)

I think Axl was upset that they never recorded it for AFD.

Sounds like a sexist statement to me. Izzy rules.

Izzy is the most prolific of the ex-gunners followed by Slash.
Izzy is also the most concise. IMO he is the man.
GNR: 5 times, VR: 4 times, Slash solo: 2 times, all the other bands I've seen don't matter.

In May 2006, thirteen years after his last performance with Guns N' Roses, Stradlin made a guest appearance at the band's show at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York; he played on "Patience", "Think About You", and "Nightrain".  He then performed with Guns N' Roses for 13 shows during the band's summer European tour. Stradlin said, "Axl [Rose] and I connected via cell phone this year, I stopped by...It was nice to reconnect with an old friend/war buddy/fellow musician. I told him later I'd like to join the fun in some way and he said I was welcome to come and play something, so I did! Took me about three weeks to recover from the six weeks of touring!" In December, he played three shows with the group at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.

Izzy with Duff and Steven in 2007, 20th Anniversary of Appetite for Destruction!  And where is the man, Slash?  Well they said he left early!  :yuk2:

Axl with Duff in 2010

I am not a fortune teller but, it is very likely that these three people, Axl, Duff, and Izzy can agree to be together for a day or so.  You see, Axl is not bad of a guy.
