Courtney Love accuses Dave Grohl of sleeping with Frances Bean

Don't know if this is true or not, but the bit about Dave hiring Taylor Hawkins to sit 'in the submissive drummer position looking like Kurt' is frankly hilarious. Its a real shame she does things like this, because the woman writes some decent music

Courtney Love has accused Dave Grohl of hitting on her daughter Frances Bean Cobain.

She claims that the Foo Fighters frontman didn't just have his hands all over Frances, but has actually slept with her, citing "reliable sources" including a driver and Frances' roommate. "I'm not mad at her. Him, I am about to shoot," she tweeted.
Love seems to believe it's all part of a Grohl conspiracy to somehow feel more powerful than Frances' father and former Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain:

"Look at his band lineup. Taylor Hawkins in the submissive drummer position looking like Kurt?" she asks.

As if that wasn't speculative enough, Courtney claims that "Dave tried to f--k me a lot and I always thought he had that Romney rape thing about him... he's obsessed."

Of course, Dave Grohl has responded with what sounds like pure common sense:

"Unfortunately Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant. These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue."

It sounds like the only obsession around here is Courtely Love trying to get Dave Grohl's attention. We wonder what she'll try next week?

Dave Grohl has denied it of course and I believe him. Francis Bean calls her mother "my biological mother" and they don't see each other. Well, I have a daughter, as you know, if this would happen to us I would rather die then being called  her "biological mother!
Courtney has made great music but she complete nuts. I'm afraid she won't grow up ever and needs this nasty stuff to get attention. It's sad.

And yes, I am in agreement in that I don't think Dave did this. I don't know either of them (obviously) but I cannot imagine that the woman who holds suicide themed parties for her child after what her father did, and is known for spouting bullshit is telling the truth about the man commonly known as the nicest guy in rock. But hey, it could all be lies right? We all know how the evil media distort things...

Agree.

I love Courtney's music, her lyrics are powerful and they portray how screwed up she is... I love her for that. There aren't many musicians who actually bare their souls in their music, but she does.

But... she's fucked up, she's crazy, she's nuts, for the better and for the worse.

I don't believe a word of what she says, and some bits are just plain stupid (like the drummer and his resemblance to Kurt  ).

I just feel sorry for Dave for having to put up with all her bullshit. He's been a class act instead of telling her what a cunt she is, I guess it's just respect for Frances, even if she doesn't like having a fucked up mom.

I never really listened to celebrity skin apart from the song of the same name, I kinda didn't dig the song to much so didn't get past that, but I really should. I have not heard her new record yet, is her voice shot tho?

Man, you should listen to the rest. It really is her best work. Not as aggressive as Live Through This. Much more melodic and Billy Corgan co-wrote a bunch of the songs. Her best lyrics by far. Just a fantastic record all the way through.

Her voice certainly isn't what it used to be but on the new album it's fine. Her solo album America's Sweetheart--her voice was a ravaged mess on that one and she was all over the place. Still not a bad album either, considering.

Yes, Peaches. These guys have fun with their horny jokes and I understand (of course) but in fact it's so sad. A girl lost her father, her mother is mad and estranged her own daughter whom only had one parent. She's still young girl.
It's shocking she organised suicide themed parties for Frances Bean as pawnshop told. It would have been still sad and nuts if her father was still alive! I'm not mocking the horny jokes here but if you lost your parent in such a sad way or never knew who one of your parents was OR have become a parent yourselves you would all agree.

I also been in the '90's to Hole at the Amsterdam Paradiso. She left the stage after 5 or 6 songs. Because someone threw a bottle of water at her. Water! But before she left she tried to climb yelling, screaming up to the balcony to try to fight with that person or just someone she thought it was?? She has also some sense of humour since she came to promote her last album "Nobody's Daughter" again at the Paradiso stage two years ago and people who still had that '90's ticket could get in for free. I'd never kept tickets. It was not Hole but some hired musicians and such a lame show. Boring. I'd prefer the '90 gig since I remember it as a fun evening and we were used to it with bands like that stuff happened. "Life Through This" is one of my fave albums despite her being so screwed up as c! stated so well.

Adriana, based on what you said, Courtney sounds like a cool person who might, however, go a bit nuts in some cases. That small line differentiating talent from madness strikes back again. Why don't you collect your concert tickets anyway? I do and, even though my concert experience is relatively small, those tickets help me recall quite a few concerts I've attended in the past!

I believe you misunderstood me! I was referring to your live experience in Paradiso, my comment had absolutely nothing to do with the rest of this thread.

I'd rather not comment on the story Courtney shared about Dave Grohl, I honestly don't know anything about it. I hope both Frances Bean and Courtney Love lead a happy life and somehow manage to get closer to each other.
