TMZ.com has posted video footage of GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose leaving the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, California last night (Friday, April 6) with 25-year-old singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey.

When asked by the cameraman if there is any chance of GUNS N' ROSES doing a reunion tour with the "full lineup," Axl replied, "Not in this lifetime."

Rose, drummer Steven Adler, guitarist Slash, bassist Duff McKagan, and guitarist Izzy Stradlin will all be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame next weekend in Cleveland, along with later GUNS N' ROSES members, keyboardist Dizzy Reed and drummer Matt Sorum.

As previously reported, GREEN DAY has been confirmed to induct GUNS N' ROSES into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, according to RollingStone.com. Their participation this year ends the speculation about who was going to induct GUNS, but questions still remain about which members of the band will show up for the April 14 ceremony in Cleveland. Slash, Duff McKagan, Steven Adler, Matt Sorum and Dizzy Reed will all be there, but it was reported this week that Izzy Stradlin won't attend and Axl Rose's participation is still unclear.

According to The Pulse Of Radio, Slash said last week that GUNS N' ROSES will not perform at the event, and Stradlin's absence would seem to confirm that whether Rose shows up or not.

Slash told RollingStone.com earlier this week that Rose "hates my guts." The two have not performed together since 1993. Rose currently tours with a completely different version of GUNS N' ROSES featuring no original members but him.

Lana Del Rey is beautiful; Axl still has it so far as that charm which melts women. I wouldn’t mind a collaboration between the two, she’s cool.

Discouraging news. I didn't think they would perform at the HOF but I did think it would pave the path for future endeavors. Looks like Axl has no interest  :okay:

Really liking Izzy and Axl's quasi indifferent approach to the whole HOF-deal.
Everytime a story like this emerges, I can almost hear Adler snap a few drumsticks...

Lana Del Rey's obsession with Axl Rose went to a whole new level last night, when the 25-year-old songstress and the 50-year-old rocker left the Chateau Marmont together.

Lana was spotted at an Axl/GnR show in Hollywood last month -- and back before she made it big, she recorded a song called "Axl Rose Husband."

The pair got into an SUV together, with Axl almost sitting in the back seat with her before hopping in the front.

Sweet Child o' Mine, indeed.

I already knew that they wouldn't do a full reunion tour.Slash has his thing with Myles Kennedy as well as Velvet Revolver (which who knows what's going on with that situation) and Axl has his thing with the current Guns N Roses...Why break up something that's going good right now with new GNR as far as that group of guys for a reunion tour which would be up in the air every night they went on stage.Just remember Axl,Slash,Duff,Izzy,Steven (and to a lesser extent Matt and Gilby) for the great times they shared together back then and move on.This ain't 1993,it's 2012 and sure Axl has been blamed for almost everything leading up to today but he made some great music and is one hell of a frontman that will never be replaced.Back in 1993 I was just 10 yrs old so I never really appreciated GNR for what they are today and I never saw them until 2006 when Axl had the new guns lineup around for a few years,so I'm quite content with this reincarnation of Guns N Roses even if Axl Rose is the only sole member from the early 90's.Sure there's no Slash,Duff,Izzy or Steven but as long as Axl is still pumping out music at his age today,I'm able to let go of the late 80's/early 90's GNR and still enjoy their music as well as today's GNR and Chinese Democracy! I'm not holding on to the 90's but moving on and enjoying Guns N Roses for the music they give us today and not complaining about the same old debate "Guns N Roses is nothing without Slash"....Slash was never apart of the band to begin with he got called for an audition...and in my eyes as well with alot of bands you hear today, none of them wouldn't be as popular without their lead singers....Axl with Guns,Robert Plant with Led Zeppelin,Jim Morrison with The Doors,Steven Tyler with Aerosmith,Vince Neil with Motley Crue those are just a few examples of bands that wouldn't survive if they never had their leading frontmen....we all found out how Motley Crue did after Vince left the band for awhile,Blind Melon when they thought they could replace Shannon Hoon with some guy.It just wasn't the same so I think a lead singer to any band is the glue that holds the group together but again that's just my personal opinion and everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

P.S - After seeing Axl leave with Lana Del Rey,he still has his way with women!  :O  Way to go Axl!  :D Now here's a debate for you all to answer...Which girl would you want?

A) Lana Del Rey
B) Erin Everly (Back when Axl hooked up with her)
C) Stephanie Seymour

That's a tough question but for me it would be hands down Erin Everly! Lana is very beautiful by those pictures though but Erin just beats her out by a few for me anyways.... :D

In a way it is news - I didn't know Axl was hanging around with Lana Del Ray. (I guess I would if I could...)
In another way it is not news - Axl already said before he won't ever perform with Slash again.  :(

what a waste of a question.

Indeed it was! Just a fool's hope question! Any other question about the band's future would 've been a better one.
If an album comes out, then buy it. If there's a concert you can go to, then go to it. You're not owed another record. You're not owed any inside stories. You're not owed the band to be managed by people you approve. It's just electronically recorded vibrations that you happen to like.

Here are the lyrics. This is before the botox, fillers and make-over before she became Lana Del Rey all paid by her billionaire daddy. She was still named Lizzy Grant at the time. I guess Lana sounds more exotic?  ;)
The Chateau Marmont is the hangout for the Hollywood illuminati.

"Axl Rose Husband"

You my Axl Rose husband
Blue hydrangea
White Pontiac heaven
Me your red, white and blue girl
Star spangled danger
You my heaven,
Heaven King, king

I said, “Daddy, I need you” (yes)
Greenwich, I need you
Strangled up in ivy
I’m the garden of Eden
Lady Liberty
Til it flame I'm shinin'
Queen, queen

You’re my one king daddy
I’m your little queen
Red, white, and blue

You’re my one king daddy
And I’m your little queen
Red, white and blue
White and blue
(White and blue)
(White and blue)

Record executive I
Need you to live, I
Someone come replace you
Should I happen to meet you
Downtown, or see you
I would fall down dead
I’m bereaved by you
Bereaved by you

In blue denim I meet you
Barefoot I need you
Diamond horseshoe sparklin’
You’re my king Jewish maven
Kids on vacation
Florida Keys are calling
Come back to me
Come back to me

Why does anyone care about a reunion tour anymore? The more it is brought up, the more abrasive everyone becomes regarding the subject. Maybe we should just leave it be, and let the tension ease. That is the only way I see anything of the sort happening.

Reunions very rarely live up to expectations, especially if there's new recorded material.

I look at it this way--fuck a reunion. Instead, we've gotten a bunch of albums from Izzy. Duff and Slash have released a bunch of music in various bands and on guest spots. Adler is releasing an album soon. CD was finally released. Even Gilby released some decent stuff. On top of that, by Axl hiring new members, the fan base has discovered the music of The Replacements, Buckethead, Bumblefoot, etc.

I much prefer getting a shitload of music from all these people than maybe 1 album that will never live up to expectations and a tour that wouldn't either.

They've moved on. So should the fans.

Why, oh why do some people still keep on about this reunion? If they are truly fans of Guns N' Roses and have followed the band they will know that that is simply never going to happen.

Besides which, Chinese Democracy may have gotten very mixed reviews but even a fan who found the album instantly forgettable such as myself is now very pleased with how the line up are performing live and the great shows that have been happening this year.

It is at a time where fans need to respect the current quality of the band and at best hope for another album before this form they've hit fades. A reunion will never happen and any people holding hope of it are sadly just grasping at a straw they'll never reach.

I don't care for a reunion it would have been great if everyone would have shown up for the induction and play as Duff suggested two songs together. Like Nightrain and Rocket Queen. Coincidentally my fave songs of AFD. But a reunion? No. It's good as it is. And the new band? That's not GN'R. It never will be. I can't enjoy that so called GN'R these days. But it's the best tribute band ever. They're great musicians. I have to give them that. But all they do is repeat, repeat, repeat the same shit and covers for years now. Nothing new shows up. Chinese Democracy new? Who knows when these songs have been written? Some sounds so YUI like period. I have enjoyed the real deal and since we can't turn back time it will not be the same magic fun as back then for the fans whom made the name big.

I'm comforted a lot by the fact that Mr Chuck D is going to introduce the Beastie Boys!! Way to go! GN'R is not the only that's going to inducted right?

Aww, sorry.....I bet Lana and her friend only did visit Uncle Axl. Sorry to disappoint you NGOG.  :(

"Later in the evening, Lana attended “game night” at a private residence with pal Jaime King and her husband, director Kyle Newman. Also in attendance were Pete Wentz, Wilmer Valderrama, Zachary Levi, Teresa Palmer, Phoebe Tonkin, Wilson Bethel, Shawn Pyfrom, and Skyler Shaye. Everybody played the party game, Mafia!"

The girl just like to hang out and enjoy her probably brief mega fame. Even Video Games is stolen; it's actually a Greek song recorded in 1992. Yes, I shut up now.... ;)

Ya I hope they do hook up, and even get serious. Why not? We all know axl can write some depressing break up songs november rain, this I love, etc. but he can also write some good positive love songs that still are awesome sweet child, patience, dont cry. It would be good for him and us if he has a good muse for once.

According to your criteria, which band doesn't repeat the same shit over and over again?

Only a truly ignorant person would claim Guns N' Roses haven't enriched their performances through the years, whether it's the old songs or the new. Shows have been very diverse, old classics have been brought back, they played arenas, stadiums, clubs. They played massive shows with lost of pyro and intimate small gigs - and all of them lasted for 3 fucking hours.

They've altered the set-list, stage set-up, their own image. And what the fuck is that about some of the songs sounding like UYI? Well Axl Rose did write a lot of the Illusions, it's only natural it will be similar in some way.

The funniest thing is that GN'R are actually among the bands who changed their sound drastically between records but your roots are still your roots. Please point out one band where you can't see any similarities between their contemporary writing and their old material?

But there has been lack of new material, I give you that. It's been four years and we're far from another record or so it would seem.
The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think

[....]Slash was never apart of the band to begin with he got called for an audition...and in my eyes as well with alot of bands you hear today, none of them wouldn't be as popular without their lead singers....Axl with Guns,Robert Plant with Led Zeppelin,Jim Morrison with The Doors,Steven Tyler with Aerosmith,Vince Neil with Motley Crue those are just a few examples of bands that wouldn't survive if they never had their leading frontmen[....]

your nickname tells a lot, but i'm replying anyway:
the Axl fans like to spit out that Slash wasnt a founding member and he just quit the band in the mid 90s, bla bla bla. fact is that Axl is guilty for the break-up aswell. not goin into that in detail right now but lets say you can make your friends leaving your own party - even if thats not an easy decision for them.
as for the original/classic members or the founding issue: Slash was all around before the AFD line-up, he even played with Axl live about 1 year(!!) before 06/06/1985, check Reckless Road-book with pics and info from Marc Canter, the "bible" of GN'R Early Days!! apparently it went like this:

January 03, 1984 - LA: first Axl gig in LA ("Rose"): Izzy, Axl, Chris Weber, Johnny Krieff/Kreiss, Rick Mars
June 16, 1984 - Madame Wong, West, LA ("Hollywood Rose"): Izzy, Axl, Slash, Adler, Steve Darrow

[...]then transitions (L.A. Guns, New Hollywood Rose etc.)

March 26, 1985 - Troubadour, LA: first "GN'R" show: Izzy, Tracii Guns, Axl, Ole Beich, Rob Gardner
04.11.85 - Radio City, Anaheim, CA: Izzy, Tracii Guns, Axl, Duff, Rob Gardner
04.24.85 - Troubador, Hollywood, CA: Izzy, Tracii Guns, Axl, Duff, Rob Gardner
04.25.85 - Dancing Waters Club, San Pedro, CA: Izzy, Tracii Guns, Axl, Duff, Rob Gardner
06.06.85 - Troubador, Hollywood, CA: first show with AFD line-up (just "Anything Goes" and "Think About You" from AFD in the setlist)

so, Slash and Adler even were around live with Axl/Izzy about 1 year before the AFD-line-up played their first show. and Duff played already on the 2nd GN'R show. watching those setlist just the 2 more weak songs from AFD (TAY, AG) have been written until then....all the other songs have been performed and mostly written together after they've played the 1st AFD line-up show. let alone they've recorded and released it all together later. so nevertheless how Axl fans would like to see it....the AFD line-up created most of the AFD songs together starting with WTTJ. and therefor they got inducted at the HOF in the 1st place: for their debut album AFD which they've created together!!!

and while you bring up some of the big bands, just take away their main guitarists and see what would be left:
Led Zeppelin without Jimmy Page, Aerosmith without Joe Perry, Rolling Stones without Keith Richards, ACDC without Angus Young.....the latest band actually got more successful -though through death circumstances- with "replacing" Bon Scott with Brian Johnson, see, that can work, too!

here is another recent Axl pic for his fanboys:

Good!  :D
Ah, damn I forgot that last picture last Saturday night. The best one. It shows off his new weave real good.

Or didn't I forget that one and... :ninja:

According to your criteria, which band doesn't repeat the same shit over and over again?

Please point out one band where you can't see any similarities between their contemporary writing and their old material?

Still wondering...

And something for the fans...
