Current Guns N’ Roses guitarist DJ Ashba believes members of the ‘classic’ GN’R line-up should put their differences aside and perform at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
 
Speaking during a Livestream chat earlier this week, Ashba – who also plays with Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx as a member of Sixx:AM – said:
 
“The Hall Of Fame? That’s a big issue right now.
 
“The one thing I don’t understand about the Hall Of Fame, is nobody’s fucking talking, nobody’s talking about it. I just don’t, I don’t get it. I think in my opinion, I think it’s a huge honour.
 
“I think it would be awesome to see, you know, everybody get up on stage and put all the differences aside for one night and just give the fans what they want. To me that makes the most sense – but I have no idea what’s going to go down because there has been zero talk about it so far.
 
“So I wish I could tell you more, um, whatever happens that night is going to be exciting. I’m anxious to see what happens.”
 
Guns N’ Roses are being inducted into the Hall Of Fame on April 14 in Cleveland, Ohio.

but he doesnt have a probem with it - which is nice to know because this way the argument that the new band members would be hurt by an old band re-union/performance doesnt count anymore.

This doesnt suprise me at all. When aerosmith broke up for a couple of years in the late 70's early 80's it was the replacement members that encouraged steven tyler to call joe perry and brad whitford. Even to this day those giys hate each other sometimes but they still manage to stay together because they know they are better together than they are apart, something axl, slash, and duff should pay attention to.

YEP! Couldn't of put it better myself! On the side, can't wait for that new Aerosmith album to drop this year!

Dont want to see the old lineup anymore. Haven't for years.  The new line up rocks.  The new line up members would like to see old line up because a lot of them grew up listening to the old line up.  The new band is fantastic.  Let it alone.  it is time to move on.

Uhm, they're mostly of the same generation as the old band, I think nobody of the current band is more than 10 years younger than the guys from the old band.

Besides that Ashba makes sense for a change.  :thumbsup:
