Yeah I remember seeing some stuff about this. I think they've completely redid the game engine. If it is RE6 I was looking at it looked more action than survival horror to me

Skipped the fifth one, really should pick it up, it's relatively cheap now. RE4 is one of my favourite games of all time.

Looks Like I Better Dust Of Resident Evil 1 And 2 In My Opinion Capcom Has Left Themselfs No Way To Go After This.
Resident Evil Has Become A Follower In The Gaming World Not A Leader .. No Survival Horror Just Action,  :'(

Go back to the RE of old.... The remakes on Gamecube were the best of the series. Fuck this new shit. 4 was the turning point :thumbsdown:

So, from what I've read, RE6 will feature multiple campaigns: so you get the RE4 Style with Leon's Storyline (which I miss like that hooker I killed a few years back), and the gears of war like Chris Storyline (good for multiplayer, I guess, but the story and atmosphere was lacking a lot), and what seems like a new, 3rd storyline with that... guy. I dunno, I guess it has me intrigued.

I'm still on the fence about this... From what I've seen so far it seems so far removed from what the RE series is all about gameplay wise. It looks to action orientated. But RE5 was incredibly stale and just downright dull, so maybe a change will be for the best

At least the Leon storyline looks like it stays true to its RE4 origins. If it is anything like the RE4 experience, I'll buy RE6 for the Leon storyline alone
