The implication of my post is that GN'R were one of the best bands in the world but unfortunately they are not now.

And that Gene Simmons is the next guy who promotes himself on Axl's back in not a very original way.

Gene also messed up the facts a little bit. Axl Rose isn't in the way of Guns N' Roses being the best band in the world. Axl is the reason Guns N' Roses are the best band in the world, although there were immense contributions by other members too.

Just another publicity stunt on Axl's expense...
