I don't care when, as long as they are an active band (so touring or publishing).

If Axl wants a new record, there's going to be one, the man gets things done  :mad:!

Unfortunately Axl once said he hoped to get another one out in their lifetime. That didn't sound like he's planning to release much material from the Chinese sessions.

Didn't Tommy also say they recorded a shitload of material and it was ready for Axl to add his input, but he doesn't know if it ever happened? I think a lot of music is recorded, but it takes a lot of time before Axl adds all of his finishing touches.

Why would DJ go out of his way to lie about something like this? it doesn't make sense, I believe him..as to the future, well, that depends all on Axl.

The whole band hasn't been to a studio together... Doesn't mean Axl hasn't been working with Dj. But, whatever they did, would be considered as "demos". It will be a long time until they all will be recording this stuff, especially with a long tour ahead of them right now.
I think the tour is the “main focus right now”.
