Axl talking about Slash a few days ago! Very funny!

This one kind of shocked me really, I was totally expecting to be rick-rolled or something.
It's nice to see that maybe there isn't as much animosity as we are so often lead to believe, though I do remember Josh Freese saying that Axl often spoke fondly of past members of the band, but more as if they were old friends who had died long ago. That said, it would be nice to see the two of them put their differences aside and at least get back on speaking terms again.

First off, being bipolar it might be that his feelings for Slash may swing in correlation with mood. Secondly, his antipathy against Slash may be more directed against reunion and not so much against the person. Thirdly, even if he possibly dislikes Slash today it is still only human to remember old stories from their friendship fondly.

There you have it  ! People seem to forget there's a difference between the work and the people performing it. Well said.

Makes me wonder if axl seems more relaxed about slash than before.

I picked up on that too. don't think it means anything but knowing Axl I know he would of had a response to anything he read and didn't like or thought was untrue.

+1 Especially considering that the shit they fell apart because of, happened ages ago and is not important any more obviously even to them.  But frankly I doubt it. After all Sorry is still on the setlist.
