Can you name a single band that existed before 1990 that released anything good during that time? No!!!

I don't think I'm the only one who really liked Iron Maiden's Brave New World.
If an album comes out, then buy it. If there's a concert you can go to, then go to it. You're not owed another record. You're not owed any inside stories. You're not owed the band to be managed by people you approve. It's just electronically recorded vibrations that you happen to like.

it would probably sound ok if Slash was on it, I won't say better or worse but both Slash and Axl (imo) are good enough musicians make decent sounding album with just about anyone. The only guaranty we have is that it would sound different.

If Slash played on Chinese Democracy, even if it was the exact same record, but with Slash playing the lead, people would still see it as a departure, but they would have liked it a lot more.
