Its like watching a Slash impersonator...what the band has looked like has never factored into it for me before, but something about DJ screams AXL CALL SLASH!!!

I don't get how he remembered all the words to Estranged but none of the songs he has sung a million times in the last 10 years! Hopefully he does better tonight!

That's asking too much of Axl to sing coma.

I'm hoping he gives it a try...hearing Estranged was the highlight of the night for me...Coma would just knock me outta the ballpark !!!!

How old are most of you? Come on, these guys aren't kids anymore. Playing in a torrential downpour might seem like a good time to teenagers and 20-somethings, but these guys are all in their forties and this day of "work" just plain sucked and their performance reflected the struggles of playing in the COLD rain (it was only 60 degrees). Go ahead and try to concentrate and perform your best under those circumstances.

I don't think the show was as bad as some are saying but it had some cringe worthy moments. Axl was off at times but that wasn't the worst part of the show. Anybody else notice how limp Frank's drums sounded? That to me was the worst part. Highlight of the show (for me) was Estranged being played, it sounded great in my opinion.

That's bullshit imo. Totally depends on the person and the climate that person feels comfortable in. It's hard for younger bands too performing on a wet stage under that circumstances. Fact is Axl -to me- that his hey-days are gone. He get's on and on with the same old, same old songs. Nothing new. If he wants to go on as singer he should use his voice different since it's still a good voice; write new material in the first place and actually love what's he doing. So start to rehearse with the band and have some fun together as a start? Or he should take a leaf from Robert Plant's page? As an another example?

Oh, sorry to be positive here but as a fan, it was pretty fucking cool to hear Estranged again  :D

But watching DJ and Frank perform it irks me.

I thought DJ screwed the solo royally but I like the way Frank plays Estranged, November Rain, Rocket Queen etc. he does a good job of remaining faithful while adding his own little spin.

Don't get wrong conclusion with one and the first show of a tour. There was health problems with Axl, there was malfunction equipment and that no stop rain...besides that they tried to be professional and played under very difficult conditions.

If you search for some videos in YouTube about the next concert in Chile on 5th October you will see huge differences and we will do everything to be on the next Guns N Roses concert.

After this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EilPpjHCuk4&feature=related - anyone can say that there is any sound problems with this band or with Axl ? If you don't believe, this classical one - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVov3-akpkI .

Last year I was in Lisbon concert, and it was amazing! They rock for almost 3 hours...! And don't expect miracles, they will be late, but when they start, just tried to enjoy and listen all the tracks, you will be surprised!
