I agree that
The Old Republic is one of the few good things about the Star Wars Expanded Universe.
I still think to this day that the prequels should've been similar to this game. Think about it: A Republic with an already-established army of stormtroopers (not clones) being lead by a shitload of Jedi who are battling an already-established Empire with their own unique clone army lead by a shitload of Sith.
As the clone wars end Anakin can be seduced to the dark side by viewing the Sith as some kind of cult or gang that allows him to develop his powers without the boundaries of the Jedi (that "doing it for love" shit was stupid). After helping the Empire wipe out the Republic and Jedi and take its army, Anakin's lust for more power can lead him to destroying the other Sith right before that battle with Obi-Wan that turn him into Darth Vader and then the Rebels form

other things that make
The Old Republic better than the prequels include: No Jar Jar Binks, useless battle droids, racist aliens, confusing politics, little kids, moody teenagers, genocide, child slaughter, random love, cgi suits and most importantly: no plot holes!
