Yes,yes he can. He was the better fighter until he got caught with a hell of a shot(this can happen in boxing. Garcia would have been in trouble if he got caught like that.)
The shot never hit him square on but it caught enough of his jaw to do the damage. If that shot had landed flush with the jaw I reckon he'd have been down the for count.

Having said that Malignaggia is a light puncher and happens to hold a world title. I don't expect him to keep it for very long.

Good look Ricky. At 33-years-old he's hardly a fuckin' pensioner.

He's clearly found retirement difficult. He's only been retired since 2009 and he's already had a stint in rehab for beak addiction.

I personally know boxers who are proud to simply have forged a career, without even getting anywhere near a world-title shot. Ricky has nothing to prove. When he's back in tip-top shape, he'll clearly be a very good pro boxer. He might not reach the heights he has in the past, but if it's what he wants, then good luck to him.

A good few fights on last night.

Brook had a convincing win and now has a world title fight. A big British fight is shaping up nicely. If Brook gets his hands on a title than a fight with Hattin could be on the cards, I think Khan v Brook will happen for sure and we might see a Hatton v Khan fight. Whatever way it works out it should be good.

Morales got ko'ed by Garcia who is impressing me more and more. Khan might get a rematch down the road with Garcia. Paulie Maglinigi (spelling) was fighting on the Garcia undercard, his title that he took off Hatton's comeback opponant was not on the line due to the guy he was fighting not making the weight, despite being over weight having moved up a division. For my money Maglinigi was edged out but he got a split decision in his hometown, after being floored in the 11th. He wants a rematch with Hatton, Maglingi is there for the taking so Hatton could get a world title on his comeback. If he then stepped up a division and took a potential title from Brook it would be a great comeback but that is just speculation at this stage.
