one world wouldn't work, it would mean one language, one culture, one belief/religion and so on so forth

Worker ants, need not speak or have opinions, they just exist to serve the cause.  Therefore everything will be harmonious

Perhaps, but we're already moving towards that now. I honestly think that a one world system is inevitable; the more we reach out into space, the more it'll have to be that way. Obviously this isn't going to happen in our lifetimes, but it would be nice. The main thing that annoys me is the fact it seems so totally stupid that you can't just go where you want, just because some place has a different flag to where you are. The ground itself is completely indifferent to us. The animals that live in these countries are completely indifferent. It's just humans that feel we need to be exclusive, and it's weird. But the way things are going now, we'll end up as one world sooner rather than later methinks.

I don't think countires really signify much other then a region thats got its rulers and cultures to live by. Other then that you could say alot of the world is becoming more similar between parts, so I believe your absolutely right.

I quite like the French. Mainly because Napoleon was the man
(and yes, you can say he was Corsican, but Corsica was French, and Napoleon was educated in France so he was French).

If our world was already one then having the world divided amongst itself would be as terrifying as a world united as one country or city or whatever. Who gives a fuck really. Just bring on change and bring the benefits as well as the cons of anything that will be brought up. In other words I'm not a part of this world. I am dust! So I don't really care about what the presidents are trying to do. They're all fucking nuts.
HIGH AS FUCK.

I tell ya, if Alexander the Great had succeeded the world would be a much better place

Bullshit. The mess which Alexander left can't be solved until this day.
The more I grow old the more nationalistic I become so definitely no one world for me. Global village and being able to travel almost everywhere is fine by me though.
