For Ashba's self-promotion, this site is a vast improvement on the old one.....for everything else, it sucks. 

IMO, the old site was a superior effort. Nice intro, pretty cool overall design, but this new one just looks like a big advertisement from the start. Horrible bright background... Buy this.... Sign up for that.... zzzzzz.

While the old site focused on subtlety, this new one is about as subtle as a rock to the face.

IMO It's all a bit "sell-out" for me. I mean, I doubt ya'd ever be able to buy "Robin Finck jeans", or "Buckethead ashtrays" etc. on their sites.....hell even Ron n Rich aren't selling any old crap with their names plastered all over it on their sites...

I don't care what he does to be honest; if he wants to 'sell-out' he's the guy that has to live with it. And if all the dollar signs mean he can live with it, then fair play to the guy. But he had absolutely nothing to do with Chi Dem, and so I don't really think he should be claiming it as part of his discography - that's the only sticking point for me. It's a slap in the face to guys like Bucket, Robin and Paul huge/Tobias et al who actually WROTE the album with Axl. But that's just my penny's worth.

You're absolutely right but after all he's part of GN'R now. He's beeb touring with the band & playing GN'R songs at concerts (old + new) for more than two years so maybe he's entitled to some extent to put the last GN'R album for sale along with Sixx A.M.'s & other bands' albums on his site. IMO DJ maybe a jerk & his site a bit off the top but he has his followers, especially young people, and if they buy band's stuff via his site it won't hurt the band but make it more popular. And besides maybe its uptime if someone updated a bit the band's official site & sold stuff there, too.

No he does not. I think he needs to have rocks thrown at him for even saying Chi Dem is apart of his discography. The album was done and released before he even joined GN'R
