Allied Powers Declare Military Action Against Libya

I was a fool to think that it was a good idea to oust Qaddafi in the beginning. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that the son of a bitch is dead and rotting, but who's going to be the next son-of-a-bitch that comes along and could be worse than the dress-wearing freak?

He was a necessary evil. He was controllable, same as Mubarak in Egypt. Now, we have two countries that could be in the hands of The Muslim Brotherhood, or some other terrorist organization.

Mubarak was controllable but Gaddafi certainly was not. However we had a common cause with him and that's more than we can say for half the middle east.

Are you people seriously bitching about this because there is a possibility of another dictator ruling the country? Let's see: NATO, in response from pleas from Libyan citizens, free them from a very much insane dictator who most certainly violated fundamental human rights, thereby granting the Libyan citizens their much desired freedom, and people bitch that it never should have been done it the first place? What the fuck kind of logic is that? That's like saying "America should have never interfered with WWII and kill Hitler because there is a possibility that someone worse than Hitler might take his place".

It's admirable to think we stopped some suffering but a lot less when you realise people will soon start dying in their hundreds because they were born darker.

That's why I'm afraid for Egypt. The Muslim Brotherhood is gaining traction in there, and most likely will gain some type of power in that country. Libya is in the same trouble. Yeah, We took out an evil dictator, but if the Muslim Brotherhood or some other nutcase gets in, what was the point?

Because seeing the future is totally feasible. Speculations will forever remain speculations; if I were given a choice of either being stuck with an insane dictator known for violating human rights and committing war crimes, or getting the chance at a better life, I'd take the latter, no questions asked; and I doubt you'd choose otherwise.

Your speculations are that a)They will form another dictator regime and b) they will attack/conspire against America, either of which is unfounded.
