True or not, I do not know. But this I have not seen in any Western media so far.

These pictures are from Libyan television taken about 2 weeks ago. Citizens of Zavia celebrate the liberation of the city from insurgents.

Canada I believe is sending planes towards the no fly zone in Libya, but I can't say for sure. Russia, I don't think.

Interesting....The 2 biggest oil producers in the northern hemisphere don't seem to give a shit what happens in the Middle-East.

Politicians and troops should NOT be viewed in the same light though.
I hope, I do not wait.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA  WIKIPEDIA!!!  And you tell ME to base my judgements on reliable sources. NO Maxiboy, I don’t get informed about world affairs on the internet, I prefer to watch TV and listen to the news, reading the newspaper and trusting in real journalism, instead of random internet links posted on gnr forums.

See those links at the bottom of a page? Those are sources, with information, apparently something else you don't know. Can't fault you, I mean I should have known better than to treat you like an intellectual equal.

Secondly, WOW! Television! THE source of non-manipulative information! Surely they won't play on the fears of their viewers to gain more ratings. Wait a sec...

Apparently they lack an adequate education system in Argentina because television is the most biased source of information.

Apparently, true facts arrive earlier to countries such as mine, free of media brainwashing and manipulation. Look how soon I learnt about the poisoned food in Japan. I think (hope, suppose) by now you’ve already confirmed I didn’t heard about it on TMZ.

Tell me, where exactly in that did you fucking get "Japan’s Prime Minister begged for international aid.  How fine can a country be when their territory is poisoning and with no prospects of industrial activities for the next few decades."

I read all the time kid. I wish I could read a little bit less to make a living, reading is how I worsened my astigmatism and that explains why every now and then I misspelt some words out of sight tiredness . dunno if you can understand that, are you bilingual? Do you read often?

Yes I read, and I don't misspell words that are right in front of my face, excuses excuses.

Where did I hear about the Prime Minister begging for international aid???
On the daily news. Unfortunately for my peace of mind, I live in a kind of family where we have breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner watching at the daily news. Just a familiar custom.
And that  phrase was a headline news, forecasted repeatedly here:
http://www.tn.com.ar/ that’s the website of the news channel.

Here it reads quite clearly: “Japón lucha contrarreloj e imploró la ayuda mundial para intentar controlar la dramática situación en la planta Fukushima I”  Use yahoo translator, I charge for this 0,25 USD per Word.
http://www.lv16.com/r7/nota.php?id=005515&titulo=Crece-el-temor-a-un-desastre-at%F3mico-en-Jap%F3n
Taken from the most respectable newspaper (La Nación). I wish you had the same access to information as I do.

Hi, here's a bit of a news update for you, they're doing fine, the disaster zone is approximately 30 km in radius.
http://www.sify.com/news/condition-at-fukushima-n-plant-improving-japan-news-international-ldtxEggeibe.html

Oh yeah, by the way, that whole "radiation" crap? Bullshit:
http://www.businessweek.com/lifestyle/content/healthday/651035.html

I don't know what kind of news show you're watching but it's obviously fear driven propaganda. Sad how you fall for it really.

JACK SHIT FUCK… You missed faggot, pussy, wanker. Is that your best? Oh all hail Maxi Powers, the wizard of word articulation First, there’re no fix rules on slang. Second, that’s how we call them, why should I change it? http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yanqui

You use a translator and you don't know that the translation is Yankee? That's pathetic even by your standards

Marko, he’s right, Sorry. This is just that I’m tired by now.

Oh hai, welcome to the world of media propaganda. As you may or may not know, the media in Libya is controlled my Qaddafi's regime. Do you seriously expect Qaddafi to put something like soldiers firing on civilians on HIS OWN network?

Also, the US wanted nothing to do with Libya when this all began. They tried to take the same "hands off" approach as they did with Egypt because they feared it will damage their relationship with the countries with their oil supply. US wanted to stay out of Libya for their oil.

Also, this: http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2011/03/navy-libya-wont-interfere-with-our-japan-aid/
Mathematical.

And don't even get me fucking started on that "No industrial activities for the next few decades" bullshit. Clearly you don't know jack shit so just shut the fuck up and go back to trying to seduce men on the forums, because anything involving facts is NOT your forte.

for better or for worse, I'm much older than you and I've experienced more things that what you ever will. Since I dont think you have much of a social life inside 666's arsehole. How's life there, is it cozy? hey, at least you have internet connection.

again, you dont live up to me. In order to reply line by line, I should start talking like a kinder garten teacher and I dont want to. Cause talking to a retard, in a retarded tone, kinda makes me feel retarded too.

so enough is enough and I'm damn over with this for today.

I'll only add to the thread that I agree whole heartedly with President Hugo Chavez and President Evo Morales on this matter  :love2:

I didn't say I didn't believe you, my point was that I don't care that NATO bombed civilians in your country. There's a difference.

(Be more precise, it is obvious that we are talking about civilians and not about the bombing.)

I can agree with the fact that you do not care, but I can not understand that you will continue to speak this:

You can insult the politicians, but don't you fucking dare insult the troops. They are there to stop the massacre. They are not there to slaughter innocents, they are there to stop a madman. What gives you the right to insult the men and women who are protecting the Libyans from further bloodshed?

Oh hai, welcome to the world of media propaganda. As you may or may not know, the media in Libya is controlled my Qaddafi's regime. Do you seriously expect Qaddafi to put something like soldiers firing on civilians on HIS OWN network?

Ok, but do you know who controls 90% of the world's media? :giggle:

this is not a war we can afford our priority is the economy not a third middle eastern conflict on top of this expect more terrorist activity as a result.

involvement in Libya by the west is a very bad idea.
Apparently a new Amy Winehouse 'Greatest Hits' collection is coming out, but the tinfoil and spoons aren't included.

To add on to what I said, Canada has about 2,500-2,830 troops in Afghanistan right now, though they are pulling out this year they say.

Couldn't agree more.

I do apologize. That was a stupid thing to say, I wasn't thinking. I honestly do care about the civilian deaths that occurred during the bombings. I really do. I am sorry.

Look, what happened back then was tragic, but we are talking about now, not then.

This is simply a revenge mission by the US on Libya.  This will teach them a lesson for attacking Doc Emmett Brown in Back to the Future....... Damn Libyans

Yeah, he has supporters too. but since it's not of the allies' convinience, they're only showing one side of mirror. It's as if USA had decided to bomb Buenos Aires after watching the riots  of 2001 and how De la Rua ordered to suppress public demonstrations. So since the police killed an insurgent, they throw 3 bombs and kill 50 civillians "to restore peace".

They should've sent a NEUTRAL commission to investigate what the people's mood regarding government is. Only when you LIVE in a territory for some time you get to lean the true ins and outs of the people. Let's take my current government for instance:  she's the most corrupt, irritating and despicable president we¿ve ever have. But when she has to make public statements , she rents a stadium and fills it with payed supporters, and that's what she sells to the world. Those payed supporters are mercenaries disguised as political activists. If in the next elections another president wins, she could pay them to go and make a huge manifestation and provoke a civil war and they'd do it. and how can other nations know better than ourselves about our situation? who are they to judge

Answer me this; Do you support Qaddafi killing his own citizens? Do you support his regime?

That's ok.

I just wanted to show you another side of the story, which obviously does not come to you, because it can happen again in Libya.

I guess that debunks that one then.

I genuinely had no idea if they were involved though.

I understand. I do not want innocent blood spilled either. I pray everyday that the Libyan people can be free from this war and that no one else has to die.

Despite what some people say on this forum, we are not oil-stealing monsters. We want to help the Libyan people to be safe and free. That means that Qaddafi has to go. We didn't want to fight this, we tried everything we could peacefully do to stop Qaddafi. But it is shown that he does not care about his people, and will not listen to reason. For the good of the Libyan people, this nutcase needs to go.

Better than no brain at all

I guess factoid information is lost on you, seeing as how you ignore things right in front of your eyes. The way you deviated the topic shows plain as day how little you actually know and that you don't even have an argument. Do everyone a favor and stay out of any topic that involves using your brain :smirk:

Lemme guess, America? Oh wait a sec, does America control China's media? Or Russia?

Wait, what's the relevance? Trying, and failing to prove an irrelevant matter does not support your case in any way whatsoever
