Are you sure that Libyan army are killing civilians? Why would they do that??? All I see are the rebels with guns, tanks, anti-aircraft shells. Is there a different way to fight against these paramilitary groups? Western powers are supporting paramilitary forces who are destroying the system of sovereign state. This is an act of aggression. They have no right to interfere in the internal affairs of a sovereign country.

The Libyan people asked for our help in overthrowing Qaddafi. They were begging us to help. When the UN announced that they would, the people cheered and applauded. They want our help. They need our help, and we're giving the people help.

Of course they're killing innocents. Just today a Libyan said that when Qaddafi bombed their neighborhood, his neighbor's house was hit, killing a newborn baby. Or is he and the hundreds of other innocent civilians that were injured or killed lying? It started off as a peaceful protest just like in Egypt, but this time, a tyrannical dictator used violence to stomp on the people, and the people said no more.

Are anyone even asked why people would rebel? They live 40 years with current regime pretty much normal, no one has intimated to something like this could ever happen. And their standard is not bad at all. They have free education, health care, many students are sent to the world's most prestigious universities. Many Western citizens can only dream about such things. I am afraid that this is propaganda, in order to exploit the country economically and to the west extended its sphere of influence.

And I'm afraid you are an ignorant fool who has no idea what the hell he is talking about.

NATO bombed civilian targets in my country with cluster bombs and bombs with depleted uranium 12 years ago. Do you want proof? :?:

Are we talking about what NATO did 12 years ago to your country?

Nope.
This is simply a revenge mission by the US on Libya.  This will teach them a lesson for attacking Doc Emmett Brown in Back to the Future....... Damn Libyans

To Max Powers (and whoever)

Worked pretty well against Hitler, wouldn't you say?

They weren’t people, they were Nazis with expansionist intentions trying to build an empire based on terror. And in Libia there was an internal affair, USA had no right to nose around their business. I’m so sick and tired of USA, WHO THE FUCK DO THEY THINK THEY ARE???? Who are they to decide what is the best for Libia. Always playing the-police-of-the-world role. And then, you got all these Yaquis fanaticized about war, who think that life is a James Cameron movie. They are all absolutely brainwashed, and I expect nothing different from them.

First, they are helping. Second, they're fine on their own.

Who are YOU to say they are fine on their own? Cause as far as I know Japan’s Prime Minister begged for international aid.  How fine can a country be when their territory is poisoning and with no prospects of industrial activities for the next few decades.

Apparently they didn't bomb your country enough, you're still alive, and making retarded comments

Sorry Marco, disagree with a Yanqui (or a Canadian, there’s no difference really) and you’ll become an ignorant, a fool, who deserves to be bombed.

it's for the oil, you like it or not. I'm sorry the troops are ordered to risk their lives for such a dirty reason. and this is typical of USA, one day they'll try to get our glaciers and fresh water and theyll invent a reason to bomb us, a really stupid one (like getting rid of Maradona) just like they are doing in Libia. Sure, they're trying to calm a social incident by applying more violence and destruction. yeah, ok.

Andy, Gaddafi is a despot. The fact his people spontaneously rose up against him shows you they don't want him there. He then started shooting his own people. I don't think the world should stand back and watch people get gunned down and simply shrug it's shoulders and say 'not my problem, it's an internal affair'. Especially when Gaddafi called for a ceasefire, and then broke it by firing rockets into Benghazi (a claim verified by Western journalists).

I don't think it's fair to claim that the West is attacking to get oil. Yes, I think they are doing this at least partly to secure their oil supply, but not to claim Libya's oil for themselves. No ground troops will be going in, at least in the forseeable future.

The Japan thing, well they are being given help like I said before. But as the world's third largest economy they don't need as much as help as a bunch of have-a-go hero's trying to oust a dictator. I'm not saying we should sit back, and the world isn't sitting back. The US has sent military forces, Britain has sent rescue teams and several countries have sent nuclear experts into aid Japan, and that's only the help that I myself know about. The G7 countries are also clubbing together to try and stabilise the Japanese economy.
How about a pint of me?

 :giggle:

Action needed to be taken against Gaddafi before he reaches the rebels stronghold, because he would butcher them all. I'm glad the UN did something for a change instead of waiting until it really is too late. They were not quick but quicker than normal.

Also nice to see other countires getting involved and taking the lead and not just leaving it to the US to do all the work. I believe Canada will be using its airforce, flown by polar bears of course. Also it is nothing to do with stealing oil, Libya is not a big oil producer anyway, sure countries what to protect its supply but not steal it.

I didn't say I didn't believe you, my point was that I don't care that NATO bombed your country. There's a difference.

Funny how the Saudi's are sending troops into Bahrain in support of another despotic regime, yet nobody barely bats an eyelid.  :?:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Libyan_uprising <- these are facts

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHAHA  WIKIPEDIA!!!  And you tell ME to base my judgements on reliable sources. NO Maxiboy, I don’t get informed about world affairs on the internet, I prefer to watch TV and listen to the news, reading the newspaper and trusting in real journalism, instead of random internet links posted on gnr forums.
Apparently, true facts arrive earlier to countries such as mine, free of media brainwashing and manipulation. Look how soon I learnt about the poisoned food in Japan. I think (hope, suppose) by now you’ve already confirmed I didn’t heard about it on TMZ.

"Who are they to decide what is the best for Libia. Always playing the-police-of-the-world role. And then, you got all these Yaquis fanaticized about war, who think that life is a James Cameron movie. I read all the time kid. I wish I could read a little bit less to make a living, reading is how I worsened my astigmatism and that explains why every now and then I misspelt some words out of sight tiredness . dunno if you can understand that, are you bilingual? Do you read often?

Where did I hear about the Prime Minister begging for international aid???
On the daily news. Unfortunately for my peace of mind, I live in a kind of family where we have breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner watching at the daily news. Just a familiar custom.
And that  phrase was a headline news, forecasted repeatedly here:
http://www.tn.com.ar/ that’s the website of the news channel.

Here it reads quite clearly: “Japón lucha contrarreloj e imploró la ayuda mundial para intentar controlar la dramática situación en la planta Fukushima I”  Use yahoo translator, I charge for this 0,25 USD per Word.
http://www.lv16.com/r7/nota.php?id=005515&titulo=Crece-el-temor-a-un-desastre-at%F3mico-en-Jap%F3n
Taken from the most respectable newspaper (La Nación). I wish you had the same access to information as I do.

Clearly you don't know jack shit so just shut the fuck up and go back to trying to seduce men on the forums, because anything involving facts is NOT your forte.
JACK SHIT FUCK… You missed faggot, pussy, wanker. Is that your best? Oh all hail Maxi Powers, the wizard of word articulation
what the fuck? How stupid can you be? First of all it's yankee, what the fuck is a "yanqui". And secondly, HIS NAME IS RIGHT THERE, HOW DO YOU SPELL IT WRONG??
First, there’re no fix rules on slang. Second, that’s how we call them, why should I change it? http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yanqui

Canada I believe is sending planes towards the no fly zone in Libya, but I can't say for sure. Russia, I don't think.
