I liked it, but who am I to judge? who is everyone to judge?

to me it's a poem about those innocent crushes that beat you when you're 14 or 16. That's why I thought it was sweet.

Cool.  It was about a crush when I was about 30.  :slywink:

I had the same reaction as Andy Rose - Sweeeeet.
I didn't think about how old the writer may be, but I noted that it wasn't spoiled by jaded bitterness.
then it would have been sweet and sour. I like it the way it is, been in that place and not too long ago and I'm way old. Keep up the good attitude.

20 seems very young, but people do usually think I look younger.  :smirk: I act younger too.  :laugh2:

Yeah, Andy loves to feel superior to everyone. Shame that she's as dumb as a bag of rocks :coffee

then people posting their stuff in the musician section do so cause they want to feel superior to those who cant play instruments nor sing. This comment makes you look like an envious redneck

sort of  "this bitch is rubbin' her education on mah face"

her eyes ... so deep ... sparkling stars
her lies she keeps for her truth it scars
she tries to sleep as she chokes apon
the tears she weeps from the love thats gone

his head it pounds like a beating drum
as he tries to convey where hes coming from
he knows its wrong that hes never right
yet he conceeds his piont to end thier fight

thier child hides benieth his bed
he hears the footsteps, he holds his breath
he prays for her to bite her tounge
he knows the ending before its done

she leaves at morning before he wakes
with bags of clothes and her mistakes
she covers up her blackened eyes
with cheap sunglasses ...it her disquise

the door flies open he grabs her hair
as thier childs eyes are filled with fear
he drags her away as the boy screams no..
"daddy please let mommy go"

the nieghbors wake but all is still
as they stare outside thier window sil
they mind thier own for there will come a day
where the same favor will be repaid

the boy trembling like a autumns leaf
reaches for the pistol beneith the seat
tiptoes over the blood and glass
and follows the screams and that horrid laugh

he cocks the gun once through the door
"you will not hurt my mom no more"
he aims the gun at his "daddys" chest
pulled the fingers towards the crest

the boy in horror and disbelief
watched the blood pour out his mothers cheek
"I love you boy" were her final words
then he raised the gun as his father turned

it all fell silent and the boy stood still
held his mother whom he just killed
"I love you mommy...now your free"
put the gun to his head and said "wait for me"
