They're referencing either the fact that he's gone for 8 or so years before the film actually starts or the fact Bane obviously beats the crap out of him making him MIA for a bit.

I'm open to Batman dying if it's done well. I'm expecting something BIG from this, seeing as it is the end. Word from early screenings said that the ending is quite emotional so who knows? ;)

i been a huge batman fan my whole life but i really hope he dies in this movie lol its just a perfect ending to it, specially with THIS villain

I fucking love them! I especially love the one where Bane spins round and punches batman's hand away. That's the bit I have been loving in the trailer too - seeing Bane kick batman's arse is AMAZING

I will reserve judgement until Ive seen it and soaked it in, but is it just me or does catwoman's ears/mask look...I dunno,goofy?
Have any nerds been enraged about it?
I really cant help but think of the catwoman from the 60s show that wasnt Eartha Kitt (Julie Newmar?) and also Alicia Silverstone's Batgirl from the maligned J.S. movies,the bat VTOL thing sort of niggles me too...

I dont mean to come in and shit on this thread continually, I wouldnt be suprised if its brilliant but from what Ive seen so far I have some doubts  :(
