I'm more excited for the 6-minute IMAX snippet in front of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol than I am for the second trailer in front of Sherlock Holmes 2.

Still in shock that this thing takes place 8 years after The Dark Knight. Makes me think that if Heath were alive and The Joker was in this movie, his hair would be down to his ass or something.

Joseph Gordon Levitt will not replace batman, no one will replace batman. If anyone BUT Bruce Wayne is batman by the end of the film, all integrity of the batman mythos will be lost. Batman is about how ONE guy, through ordinary means, complete things that are extraordinary, not some friggin Nite Owl shit

Do you mean Nightwing? I doubt Gordon-Levitt's character is anything major. As far as an ending goes, I would prefer if Bruce Wayne faked his death so he could be Batman 24/7.

Happened in the comics... briefly...

I think a more likely outcome would be retirement though. There will definetly be some degree of finality about this one.

Nolan has always said this will absolutely be the final Nolan Batman, so who knows? I'm not sure I agree that the film loses all integrity if batman dies. Remember, if you make yourself more than just a man, if you devote yourself to an ideal, then you become something else entirely. A legend. And a legend of batman doesn't need the same person behind the mask to exist...

I'm making my sister take me to see this when it comes out.
Roses are red
Violets are blue
Fuck you, whore.

Johan is not nuts. At least not anymore nuts than the rest of us. He is ruled by his own psychology, which includes jealousy that he cannot sing that high.

Absolutely, I would be massively shocked if there isn't a major conclusion to his trilogy. Nolan wouldn't leave his Batman universe open for other writers and directors to come in and continue in the style he had went with. Fact is there will be an end to this sage, be it retirement, death etc.

All we can be sure of is that Nolan will make it work.

I'd like this to be the end so that this shit ends on a high note but Mike Caine and Gary Oldman both hinted their might be more with different actors and Chris Nolan stepping down to executive producer or something. I hope that really doesn't happen though...

But batman will become a completely different person. The whole story is about how Bruce Wayne's internal struggles as Batman, not some random fucking nobody. That's the reason why the whole Knightfall arc ended with Bruce Wayne becoming Batman, and that's the reason why the whole "Bruce Wayne dies at the end of Final Crises" sucked
Mathematical.
