So do any of you guys play this? Max maybe?

I gave it a go a few months ago briefly to see what the fuss was about and besides the clunky controls you can really see where it's headed and it is a fantastic idea.

The stand alone was due this month but it looks like early next year now, are any of you going to play?

For the uninitiated it's a mod for Arma II - you are set in a sand box environment with nothing on you and you must find weaponry and items to keep yourself alive. It's multiplayer so you'll also have to decide whether or not to trust other players as they often kill you. You can store your loot in hiding spots and it'll stay there unless someone else finds it. Once you die you lose all your gear though and have to start again. It's pretty awesome, but it is only in alpha at the moment so you're only really looking at raw potential not an amazing end product yet.

Game is full of hackers so it's not really worth playing in its current state - and I don't suggest War Z as it is a knock off full of micro transactions pushed out to make as much money as possible before the DayZ stand alone can reign supreme.

Also another difference between the two is realism. DayZ is realistic, War Z is, to put it fucking bluntly, not.

C'mon nobody plays this? Nobody has heard of this? It's such a good way to waste an hour or two!

Stop feeding Activision, force them to be creative and put effort into CoD - support the grass roots developers out there making real games! Give it a go, $30 on Steam and you're good to go.
