I feel we need one of these, since the Black Ops thread descended into a general discussion!

I'm going to start writing some reviews of games I think, and I'll put them in here. Until then though, feel free to continue the discussion from the other thread!

Well there are threads for both last movie seen and book read so it makes sense to have a general thread for video games.

I got PS3

I'm currently playing Batman: Arkham Asylum and am loving it.

I got Fifa 11 for Christmas and will be hooked on that one for a while guaranteed!

Current favorite game: League of Legends
Basically a better DOTA (defense of the ancients). the concept is really simple, but it gets complicated real fast. Really addicting too.

My personal favorite finish to a game has been when I completed Ocarina of Time. I kinda forget the story but I'll never forget how I finished it... Before entering the final dungeon you can buy a potion which takes 'half damage' when hit ( I found this out AFTER I beat the game!!!)  I had like 2 hearts left and wasn't sure how many more swings needed for the final boss. he swung at me, I avoided him, rolled between his legs, swung at his tail, and he was finished!!!! When I roamed around afterwards, that's when I had found the potion and was like, 'fuck that would've been easy!!!!'

True story!

Arkham Aslyum is one of the best games I have ever played, and I mean that sincerely. I really think they've managed to strike the balance between stealth and action just perfectly - it made me feel just like the Dark Knight, that's for sure!

Currently Playing GOW2, Medal of honour and MW2 (for fun).

Cant Wait to play GOW3 (Getting the beta by ordering Bullestorm) And Test Drive unlimited 2.  :D

i been playing castlevania and assassins creed brotherhood all day...ACB has a frustrating cliffhanger for an ending and castlevania i'm only about 60% of the way through. Both great games though.
