I also have some opinions regarding the news section n' SLASH that you could answer. You may not like me n' we may disagree on lots of different subjects BUT we both love GN'R n' we're both inside this forum that is supposed to be a democracy. Nobody bashes Axl because they are so on the side of Slash they are blinded to everything else. Most of the people here are fans of both Slash and Axl, and they voice their opinions accordingly. As always in these situations, you are only going to notice the negative comments about Axl, and then base your entire opinion of the forum on those.

Now, for your information, the staff team here are not the Gestapo. We are censoring your and Volcano's posts based on use of the word 'cancer', as there are several people on here who have lost family members to this disease, myself included, and in the interests of the greater good we are removing any post which makes an offensive use of it.

So, please be aware that this forum is not anti-Axl. However, we like to formulate opinions based on what we perceive as fact, rather than hearsay and rumours arising from petty arguments between former band members. If Guns N' Roses are really this important to your life, then please show that in a more positive light. You don't have to mention Slash to show how much you like Axl.

Now, can the people please get this back on topic? It's in danger of being moved to flamers if it doesn't do so soon.

2 questions:

1) _ Ok, the word cancer is forbidden (well I lost 2 relatives - incluidng my mom) to this disease but I don't burst into tears if I see this word somewhere n' I can use this word to make a point or whatever.
So - if I call Slash as: prick, faggot, son a of bitch, asshole, cocksucker, double-crossing-dirty-liar, etc - is it ok? Because I see people doing those things when they talk about Axl n' nothing happens. I know this ain't anti-Axl but some people sometimes act like they are n' nothing is removed - it's a fact n' you know it.
2) - I don't call Slash as cancer to make Axl happy. I just think it's a perfect nickname for him because I totally agree about what Axl said about removing or being far from whatever that is related to this fucking motherfucker. Anyway: if Axl comes to this forum n' calls Slash as cancer, will he be censored too?

About the topic... I guess that's it. We're probably talking about this much more than Tesla itself as a band or the media. It was either a strange stupid joke or they were trying to have some spotlight from the media because almost anyone cares about that band anymore - so, unless they try to sue the band for stealing the song (which I doubt they will) I guess that's it!

2) If Axl says something in an interview or directly to the forum, then this counts as news, and as such would be posted as they would be his words. This would then be up for debate amongst the members, and if they use the words in quoting Axl then fine. However, when people use those words in a derogatory manner when commenting on news, it is unacceptable I'm afraid.
