Simple answer yes I did. House of Blues 2001 they looked their best

He didn't have braids at HOB 2001. At the December 2001 gigs at the Hard Rock he had the closest thing to braids but it was only like 10 braid strands and the rest was just straight hair down past his shoulders.

And dude, you choose very biased pictures. Axl may not look as cool as he did when he was 25-30 but that only goes to show what a shallow asshole you are for wanting him to look like in the old days.

Paste a picture of yourself when you're 20 to a picture when you're 50 and let people critisise you for what a fat, wig-wearing, not wealthy enough to afford botox fuck you have become.

I agree that Axl has changed a lot since the 80's & '90's. I don't know whether you'll believe me but when I found accidentally ChiDem this year I haven't seen a pic of him since 1993. It was weird. The man from the pics looked familiar & at the same time very different from the one I remembered. And besides he looks different in 2001 (this is the weirdest look with the shiny skin & unnaturally blond eyebrows), in 2006 & nowadays. I figured the plastic surgery interventions out alone & then confirmed them by asking Google. It took some time to accept the new look but now I don't see botoxed, chemically peeled face but Axl from the 90's who just grew old. We all do since the day we are born. & people put a bit weight when growing old. Slowing metabolism, you know. & I think he takes very good care of himself & whether this includes plastic surgery is none of our buseness & when I say this bear in mind that I don't approve of this kind of surgery myself....But we are grown up people & everybody decides for themselves.

It is a  fact that Axl was blessed with exceptional looks which he might have taken for granted & which of course is transient. We all know how the whole band abused with drugs & alcohol in the 80's & 90's. They smoked too much, too. This abuse affects body in many ways & skin is one of the most affected organs. IMO you cannot undo this after failng to prevent it. You have just to accept it. It must be hard to have looks like young Axl's & then find one day that what you once had is not there any more.

IMO beauty is not just combination of frsh skin, nice features, killer eyes & great hair but something that comes from inside & reflects your personality. & Axl has unique personality & charisma which don't go away with age.

I don't like thе way Axl looked in the 80's & early 90's. For me he was a lost drugged kid & frankly I don't find him hot but looking ill. & I never liked angelic looking men anyway. He obviously didn't take much care of himself & had crazy dressing style, too.  For me Axl looks best in '06. His face was perfect, he was very fit, the plaits were cool & he dressed fabulously & carefully. But I like him best these days 'cause now he is himself. His hair is natural, he wears whatever he likes. & I don't find his face bloated. & he's not fat either.

2nd After Guns N' Roses became successful, Rose noted that he had stopped using any sort of hard drugs.[43] He did not disavow the use of illicit substances, stating in a 1989 interview "I have a different physical constitution and different mindset about drugs than anybody I've known in Hollywood, because I don't abstain from doing drugs, but I won't allow myself to have a fuckin' habit. I won't allow it"
