About a month ago I joined an indie/rock band called Hey Fever. So far they're pretty established. They have just recorded a new six track EP, which is mixed and mastered by Berkfinger from Australian indie-pop sensation Philadelphia Grand Jury. The band has huge amounts of potential and I'm so happy to be a part of it. We're about to head out on a tour of Australia's east coast, and a couple of them are with some decent aussie acts (The Living End and Trial Kennedy).

Anyway, today is the release of our new single 'Ask Me'. Check out the video below and let me know what you think.

Please let me know if you hate it, honesty is what we need in order to advance.

That said, good shit, I like it :thumbsup:

Dude! that's awesome!!! Seriously, that is awesome. And the video is great as well. I love it if truth be told, really impressed with it. I love your bass mix, it's nice and high, like bass should be :nod:

Really glad you guys like it! Unfortunately it's not me on either the track or in the video. I joined just after both were recorded, so I'm missing from this first EP. I get the funner part though (touring!) I'll be in the follow up clip as well, and all future releases.

I'll be sure to keep you all posted as more stuff gets released  :rockon:

Yeah, stay with these guys dude. They're destined for bigger things than the pub scene.

You're going to go far - you certainly sound more unique than what you'd normally expect from the Aussie scene. I know you said you weren't on it, but make sure you make your presence felt! Good luck man you've done fucking well for yourself and plug NewGNR.com everywhere you go! :D

Cheers for that guys. It helped us get to 15 on the indie chart, and somewhere in the 60s on the overall. We hung around that mark for a couple of weeks and then dropped off.

We're half way through the tour at the moment. Went upto Sydney last weekend and played a couple of sick shows there and got asked back for some bigger and better nights for next time. We've got the Melbourne shows this week then upto Queensland next week.  :rockon:

If anyone hasn't checked out the track, please give it a listen and let me know what you think. EP will be out hopefully by the end of the year or early next year.

Figured I'd bump this up. Our EP is coming out May 6 and will be called 'Codes'. We've been hearing some good feedback on it all and are hoping it starts to help us grow a bit.

You can hear another track on our Unearthed profile now, which will be the lead single from the EP. The Video for it will be up very shortly. If you wanna rate/vote for us again, that'd be great. It's called Let Us Out To Play.
