Yeah, sometimes I look for some cool GN'R pictures and I'm glad people like them.


The line from Have A Cigar is one of my favourites too, especially because it signifies everything I hate about people who pretend to be huge music fans and experts. The fake posers who are suposedly interested in a certain band or music, but the reality is totally different.

I have never seen this picture of Paul Tobias and it seems to be the best quality picture of him that's circulating around. I don't know who the woman is. Two pictures of her with Axl Rose also exist.

Wonder what Tobias is up to these days.

BTW - to me socializing in this forum is an entertaining part of real life, I've never thought of you as an ass although I'm betting you've got one - you're one of the members in here I'd likely enjoy sitting in a pub over some brews chatting about GNR, off line, with.
Also, if you ever come across current pics of Izzy this thread would be the place to share them and I'd be massively impressed - they're scarce as hen's teeth. I've sometimes wondered about the California Baja  and Utah Salt flats desert racing scene - if maybe Izzy participated in any of those competition events - but I haven't pursued it, I guess because it's not directly music oriented. Clearly it's inspired some of his songwriting. If he actually entered and won a race though, I bet we'd hear about it.
