Fuckin A! Can't wait to get it - should arrive either tomorrow or the day after. I was very cheeky and went and tried one in the guitar store, said 'awesome, but I'll have to save up for one' and then bought one at a massive discount on line the same afternoon

Yeah there isn't really much difference in alot of Mexicans and Americans.

Nah i haven't stopped playing bass, it's just i have an old bass lying around at home gathering dust and since that guitars only £230 (it's made of plywood) i thought i'd sell it.

Guitar arrived yesterday, and I fucking love it. Played it all last night and I've just had an hours blast on it now. So good - needed to fuck about with my amp settings for ages though. Not used to these single coils! Got it sounding pretty sweet now though I must say. It's great for doing Tom Morello stuff on

Haha, thanks man! I'm actually in two bands now - one is coming along nicely. we have a few tunes written and hope to gig by christmas, and the other is just more of a jam sesh orientated band, but will hopefully be gigging pretty soon as well.

Well, the main thing with a tele is you get a great clean tone, which means you can put all kinds of effects on the guitar and it won't sound odd. Secondly, although I don't really like thin necks when playing lead stuff, I love the thin neck for rythm playing. You can shift chord shapes really easily with this neck, and then you can do Jimi Hendrix-esque suspensions and lead licks over the chords really easy with it. And the fact that the single coils mean I can get a tone really close to my favourite guitarist, Tom Morello
