Hitman Hart
That man obviously isn't going to be one one hundredth of what he used to be, at this point he is a gimmick but the name is still there. I haven't seen any WWE/TNA wrestling in over a year now but Bret, even when he was retired was still like a god.

Undertaker, I can stomach him when he's the dead man, his "Badass" character was just horrible  :argh

Cena and Rey Misterio are the two main reasons I quit watching WWE. Cena character is shaky at best as it is, but then have the lose on tv, win the PPV match thing going on...that makes him just unbearable. Misterio I used to like but the whole He's the underdog in every. single. match. angle is just lazy writing.

That, sadly, is true. But like I said in a previous post. He's about to push 60, and has had 2 strokes. It's a shock he can still get in the ring. I still consider him a god like

:O I loved his "Badass" character

They're both repetative and boring. I can't stand either one of them. Exactly. That's my thoughts on those two. I do have to hand it to Cena, he was a good heel..I don't think he could pull it off if he tried again.

Someone explain 'heel', 'face' & 'jobber' please. I roughly get their meaning but it's like using a big word you only half know, might use it in the wrong context. So yeah what the fuck are they?

 :giggle:
I even put in examples :shy:

Face- A crowd favorite, the good guy. The one who is expected to win. AKA John Cena
Heel- The one everyone hates. Who will do anything to win, ect. AKA Chris Jericho or Sheamus
Jobber- The guys who get beat up in 2 minute matches to push other guys or to make them look like they're indestructable AKA Goldust
Roses are red
Violets are blue
Fuck you, whore.

You use Goldust as an example? Please tell me you know of the legendary Brooklyn Brawler...and of course everyone's favorite...Doink!

Yep. And yes I do, I could have used a whole list of people. But present-day, he was one of the first to pop into my head.
I remember Gillberg, he got his ass handed to him by a girl :giggle:

No problem :mwa

I know :( I did think about changing it to Zack Ryder, but I thought of Goldust instead :ninja:

The mid to late 80s/90s is WWF for me-I really cant get into the "new" guys like Cena etc-when guys like The Undertaker and Goldust are retired Ill give even less of a fuck about wrestling than I do now.

Maybe it was being a kid and all that, but the 80s Wretlemanias were fucking magic-its not the same.

As I said earlier,Raw and Smackdown were still pretty good around 99 or so-since then Ive totally lost interest.

I know what you mean. To me, it seems they're more in it for the fame and an easy ticket to Hollywood. My favorite era of WWF/E was the late 90's to about 2003-5. After about, 06-07, it started getting stale and now look at it. Its almost hard to watch.

It may be that. Or it could be that all the wrestlers you grew up watching aren't even there anymore and it's like a whole new thing now. That's how it's becoming with me. I grew up with the Attitude era so it's hard to watch them come and go. Then new guys come and take their place.

RAW stopped being good in around 2006-07. It's been really repetative since then :disgust:

Yeah Ive got to wonder if it was just being a kid-but Im pretty sure the huge personas of those guys in the 80s heydays surpass those of today.

I loved RAW/Smackdown in the late 90s/early 2000s though-probably is a fair bit of the nostalgia factor  added in though.

I wonder the same thing myself, even though I still watch it. No doubt about it even though I can't stand Hogan

I did as well. It had it all. The alliance and Attitude Era is the best thing to come out of pro wrestling in the last 15-20 years

Then again, its Hitman Hart vs The Undertaker-and thats pretty fucking cool, even in wheelchairs that would be cool.

Perhaps instead of being a grumpy fag I should just enjoy the jawdropping World Wrestling Entertainment on offer  :giggle:

It's hard to enjoy when it's the same thing every week, so you can stay a grumpy fag :giggle: :mwa

On a side note, there's a rumor that Paul Bearer is supposed to return :banana

That's why I stopped watching it.  I also can't stand the two commentators who stupidly get excited week in week out for no reason at all

I hate that matches all end the same also - there seems to be a few variations to the formula but it's all the same shit

Example 1: X wrestler comes out and rapes Y wrestler
X attempts pin or grapple, Y counters
Y gains upper hand for next few minutes
Y attempts to pin, X counters
X pins Y and runs from ring

Example 2: As above
However, as X attempts to pin Y, random wrestler interrupts fight and ruins pin attempt, match ends in disqualification or whatever

Example 3: All out domination. Pin fall in 1-2 minutes flat.

Yawn to fucking hell and back.
