Saw this today, was wondering if anyone knew about this -

Well we know for a fact Robin wrote the guitar to Better while he was in GN'R, and Axl wrote lyrics to it, so it's definitely never been worked on by the old band.

Then again it's clearly not genuine and just a collection of demos, most of which have been floating about Limewire since forever, feel free to steel/download it for free.

Just scanned through the cd, the Dust in the Wind, Just Another Sunday and Crash Diet are worth the time if you do not have them already.  The other stuff is basically demos and instrumentals.

What does "Leave Me Alone" sound like. I take it its an instrumental. I thought that song was now called "Soul Monster."

What's the quality of Crash Diet like?  Even though it's a demo.

The version i have isn't to great and when listening to it sound is only really clear from one speaker while the other is kinda muffled.

I did have a "remastered" version that i got from some other gnr site but i lost it  :(

Never heard of those demos being under the Illusion lineup. I think they're just probably the ones from 99. Axl scrapped everything from the old band after they left!


Crash Diet is B+ quality. West Arkeen on guitar

Don't know if is too late to reply. I just saw this not to long ago.

Those were just some demos I put together from various sources.
I compile them so that I could play the in my iPod with out multiple albums showing up.
One day on 4chan on /mu/ I posted a pic to participate in a thread. Some body saw that album and requested it and that's when I decided to put it on the bay.
The title of the album is just a random name I came up with. It was never intended to imply that those song were part of the UYI era. I just happen to have a pic of the "School of Athens" and I used that as the cover.

1. Actually "Leave me alone" has about 3 working titles.
2. That is the best version of 'Crash Diet" available.

Can anyone on here send me this version of Crash Diet. I have a copy of song on an old GNR CD called GNR covering em. Was going to see if this was any better
