Bucket's appearence on stage annoyed the shit outta me. He played with no feeling and just stood there cranking out awesome solos.

Robin 01-02 sucked
I loved Robin's look 06-07. He really harmonized well with axl both musically and on stage!
What do you mean, I don't like them. There personality/stage presence, or musical abiltity

So going back to your first comment... what you're saying is that you didnt like Chinese Democracy then?

I'd love to see you go on stage and do what he does and try and stay grounded..

What has staying grounded got to do with anything?

But anyways.. I don't think he is "acting" like a rock star... thats kind of a blind statement.  That's like saying Axl, Slash, Duff, Izzy and Steven were "acting" like rock stars before they made it big and were playing cover songs in bars.. that was just them and how they acted.. and they were doing a lot worse shit then DJ ever did.. so why is DJ any different?  I don't think he is pretending to be some huge rock & roll star to impress anybody, I think he's just being himself.

I know a lot of people that get drunk and do stupid shit... and they're not trying to be rock stars..

I never once said he was 'acting' like anything. I said he was a wannabe rock star. Playing other peoples work night after night in my book doesnt make you a rock star. It just makes you look like a stand in. Jplpool got it right when he said all he is currently doing is a Gilby. I don't consider Gilby a rock star based upon his time in GNR. Once DJ writes for the band (and not just re-records others work) and then performers his work for us I will only then reconsider my stance.

And that bartender bragging thing was truely pathetic.

Fuck no

I'm not going to explain what I think of CD. I've explained it in a million other posts ok. I liked CD a lot and I beg Axl to bring Robin and Bucket back. If you really give a shit about what I think, read some more of my posts

Ha, no I really don't give a shit about what you think.. especially not enough to go read more of your posts.  You just seem to be contradicting yourself in this thread that's all.

Sorry I never read the book "how to become a rock star" and "how not to be a wannabe rock star"... which obviously you wrote since you know so much on the subject

DJ might be a douche-bag off the stage... who cares?  It's not like Axl is an angel... oh but wait, Axl's earned his rock star status in your eyes so he is allowed to do rock star stuff.. right?

Its like Chad Kroeger from Nickelback singing for Led Zeppelin.

If you cant figure out how wrong that is on so many levels...DJ to me is the epitomy of scraping the barrel and they may as well have gotten Ritchie Sambora or CC Deville.

DJ really knows how to play the crowd and get them into the show. I am now a fan of TIL because of DJ (minus the first show or two) and love the way he plays Better!

Other than the Bartender incident he has been nothing but great guy in Axl's band.

I agree.  Yes that bartender stunt was a bad, really bad move and I lost some respect for him too, but he's been an incredible addition to the band.
Im pretty sure WTTJ wears a safety helmet when hes on the internets.

I didn't think so!

Really, why don't you back up your frivolous claims. I've had the same stance in this thread and for the past couple months

I like Ashba, is better than Finck, and he can play an awesome guitar solo like "the Ballad of Death", so
Slash is history.

Not with all those people who cannot let go that slash isnt part of Guns.
