I love Ballad of Death and I think DJ is the best thing to happen to gnr since Bumblefoot.... I hated Buckethead too.. I know he was talented but still...

I miss Finck (Ron and Buckethead aside he was the GN'R guitarist for me, his solos have been amazing) but even though I hated DJ at first but I've gotten used to him. People say he's shit live but he is rather consistently competent, he doesn't fuck anything up anyway.

I'm sick of the revolving door of guitarists. Robin was just irreplacable and is responsible for a lot of the CD sound along with Buckethead, Tommy, and Brain! If Tommy or Richard leave I'm done!

For Ashba I like Ballad of Death, I'm just I hate Crue, and Nikki Sixx. Also, all his tatoos and piercings are really getting under my nerves!

I'd say being a lead guitarist in guns n roses pretty much qualifies you as a rock star..

What is wrong with DJ Ashba being in the band? When the tour has had great reviews minus that pretty lame one about Helsinki. In everyone they say how good DJ is live, and what a great performer he is.

Now I know everyone has there own opinion it just baffles me how hes so hated by some  people here.

No. Nothing rock star-ish about going on stage and playing other players stuff every night imo. Once he contributes to GNR in terms of a record I will reconsider my stance.

I'd love to see you go on stage and do what he does and try and stay grounded..

But anyways.. I don't think he is "acting" like a rock star... thats kind of a blind statement.  That's like saying Axl, Slash, Duff, Izzy and Steven were "acting" like rock stars before they made it big and were playing cover songs in bars.. that was just them and how they acted.. and they were doing a lot worse shit then DJ ever did.. so why is DJ any different?  I don't think he is pretending to be some huge rock & roll star to impress anybody, I think he's just being himself.

I know a lot of people that get drunk and do stupid shit... and they're not trying to be rock stars..

Bucket's appearence on stage annoyed the shit outta me. He played with no feeling and just stood there cranking out awesome solos.

I loved Robin's look 06-07. He really harmonized well with axl both musically and on stage!
