Serious question.

What is wrong with DJ Ashba being in the band? When the tour has had great reviews minus that pretty lame one about Helsinki. In everyone they say how good DJ is live, and what a great performer he is.

Now I know everyone has there own opinion it just baffles me how hes so hated by some  people here.

I think he is wannabe rock star. The getting the bartender fired story for me was the last straw, he thought that was cool and was bragging about it, it was just retarded.

He is a good player live, better than Robin live but he is only playing other peoples work. Thus far he has shown nothing in the writing department that makes me think he is good enough for GNR. Ballad of death fucking sucks imo and if that is the best he can come up with then he is fucked. Not a fan of his work in Sixx:AM, find it boring tbh, so in summary GNR have had better and Ron owns him. Same goes for Frank.

I don't like it, imo its nothing special and he wrote it for the purpose. Most of the bands solo's are other peoples work but DJ wrote that and its not a great advert for his writing skills. The title of the solo sucks too.

It was in South America I think during the tour and DJ bragged on facebook/twitter that some bartender had been rude to him so DJ threw a bottle at him and got his ass fired. Epic badass stuff from DJ.

If you cant figure out how wrong that is on so many levels...DJ to me is the epitomy of scraping the barrel and they may as well have gotten Ritchie Sambora or CC Deville.

DJ really knows how to play the crowd and get them into the show. I am now a fan of TIL because of DJ (minus the first show or two) and love the way he plays Better!

Other than the Bartender incident he has been nothing but great guy in Axl's band.
