According to reports in Italy juventus have made a bid of £8 million for robin van persie........

And mario balotelli's agent rates the player at £200 million

fucking hell

2 points:
* Are Juventus high?
* Balotelli's agent said that the player is worth what it would take to get him and he is of the impression that's what the Sheikh would want for what is quite easily when he puts his mind to it the most talented young striker in Europe.
Apparently a new Amy Winehouse 'Greatest Hits' collection is coming out, but the tinfoil and spoons aren't included.

RVP only has 1 year left on his contract, Juventus are just doing the same thing Arsenal would do. I recall Arsenal offering something like 5 million for Cahill when Bolton want 17 million or something because he only had a year left. It's never going to accepted.

City paid over 20 million for Nasri who also had a year left on his contract, so they would be only club that would pay huge money for RVP I think.

Van Persie has Arsenal over a barrel - Unless Citeh, Chelski, or 'Royal' Madrid come in with silly money, then they may have to accept (probs) about 10-12 million or face losing him for free next summer.

It's debatable what they should do....

Oh, and welcome to Everton Naisy.
I hope, I do not wait.

Yes but Arsenal can afford to hold out with RVP knowing multiple clubs will spend much more to sign him. We did spend big money on Nasri, although i imagine the money would be less if he hadn't been tailed by United and if recall correctly a couple of the big French clubs. But yes if we bid on Nasri it'll be around £20million.

I don't question Mancini's vision he's lead us to an FA Cup and now a Premier league title in two years he's very clearly the man for the job and is one of the best managers in the world, but i am very curious as to how he will balance all the forwards if he does land RVP.

I agree with that. We need City to come in for him to make decent money on him now.

Walcott next to go, he only has a year left too.

Wasn't there a significant degree of interest from Chelsea not long ago? possibly involving a swap for Sturridge?

EDIT: According to a good number of websites they're preparing a £13million bid for Walcott right now.

I'd be surprised by that one. I'm not saying it won't happen, but I'd be surprised.

This one is a bit of a rumour, but I'm not dismissing: it Frank Lampard to LA Galaxy; Landon Donovan to Everton.

Obviously not a swap deal, but MLS teams are only allowed three "designated players" per team.

Galaxy have Beckham, Keane and Donovan.

Donovan is now in the final year of his contract and in a position to force a move from The MLS (who own all player contracts)

Add that to the fact that he's one of American sports poster boys, and he's sponsored by Nike, the same Nike who have just became our kit manufacturers, and you'll see why I think this MAY happen.

Lampard was defo being talked to at that Galaxy game. I lol'd when the press said he was there to watch Beckham.
I hope, I do not wait.

Park set to join QPR from Utd for 5 million, not bad for a 31 year old.

Rangers captian Davis joins the Saints.

I really like Park QPR have done some good business getting him for so little in my opinion.

I'll admit park didnt have the best of seasons(11/12),but gutted he's going as he's such an energetic player and gives everthing he can.

Good money for a 31 year old as rds.06 mentioned

I wouldn't mind Park at Everton.

However I'd rather have Pienaar. I'm hearing it's a done deal for Stevie and it will be confirmed within days.

Not sure how this bears on the Lampard to Galaxy rumour, but I'm now hearing Donovan will join us in January on a permanent deal.
I hope, I do not wait.

Is he not a flop waiting to happen?

Few Italians do well in the England and not many in the last few years.

Balotelli is the only one that springs to mind currently. I was gonna suggest Coloccini but he's just Argentinian with an Italian sounding name.
