6 million sounds stupid but it was confirm it was more then 6. He is in the last year of his contract, he can walk for free next summer. Man City paid insane money for Nasri but that was just them. Clichy went for 7 million because he was in the last year of his contract. I really wouldnt pay more then 10 million cash for him. If they can pay Bentners wages then they should swap.

All things considered, he would be a good signing for them, in terms of replacing what they have lost. I know for a fact that they offered us Bendtner for Arteta on Sunday. We knocked 'em back, but they still need to find that defensive steel.

I mentioned in one of the threads, that Arsene was shite defensively and that it was going from bad to worse for them in that dept. and then lo and behold..........

I'd take Benayoun. Decent player with experience. Always caused us trouble when playing against him. I'd take anyone at this stage.

Rumour is we are on the verge of signing a Brazilian left back from Turkey, 7 million, 28 years old and capped 22 times by Brazil. I'll take him too. Alex from Chelsea is another rumour and we are said to have upped out bid for Cahill to 12 million. A South Korean stiker is due to sign from Monaco also. Nothing world class in that bunch but thats what you get for waiting until the last fucking minute. The club should be much better then this.

Arsenal could also sign M'Villa from Rennes for £26 million, that would be a great signing for arsenal
