Like how it sounds or not, I don't think people appreciate how straining his singing voice is. I give the guy kudos for not having lost his voice completely and still touring fairly regularly.

He was born William Bruce Rose and had his name changed to Bailey after his mother re-married. So what you're saying is one of the most traumatic life changing fuck ups in his life he should be reminded of even after legally changing his name?

Yeah you're right, I find child abuse abhorrent, but then doesn't everyone? No personal attachment to that discussion but it is a pretty disgusting subject.

I don't bash her for her mindless fangirl attitude to Axl and the new band etc. but that's more a live and let live type of thing in the same way if you and I were to be face to face and hypothetically you were a Metallica fan I would sit there with a straight face and let you tell me how good they were. Sure I'd sarcastically reply with 'yeah, cool' like most of the shit bands my friends like 'Lamb of God, Parkway Drive, A7X etc. but I'd let you rant on. Until you said they were better than 'x band' or more to the point, Megadeth. I know that sounds hypocritical since I'm here now arguing with you, and I would usually flame the fuck out of a Metallica thread on this shithole.

Yeah this is in Flamers that's why we can say whatever we want. I know you didn't directly mention or even allude to his abuse being funny or a joke, but you know as much as anyone about G&R, Axl, their histories etc. and that's why I jumped on the argument. I enjoy cheap shots as much as anyone :thumbsup:

I would probably say the attacks on Slash and co generally haven't been overly personal, usually just petty name calling or the usual bitterness you'd expect from him. Which is probably a good thing, they would both have pretty personal secrets they wouldn't want anyone to know.

And you know I usually do agree with most of the shit you and others say, but sometimes I do feel the need to defend at least the fanboys from being called losers or made to feel stupid for having the opinions they do.
