I thought you were being ironic, but you never cease to impress me, do you?   I mean, the .wav file's length could be easily compared to nothing, we don't even know if it really is from the late 90s or who the guitar player is. I've got to admit that I was amazed by the guitar tone though. Is that Axl singing? It's like listening to an amature.

"Axl's" vocals sound like something some cunning person has created using something like "Audacity". As I stated already, I recall hearing a cover band (from Brazil or Argentina) who have a remarkably similar sound to their performances. I believe that following the multitrack leaks, a few sad people have decided to promote this "material" as GN'R.

I don't think this is legit to be brutally honest. I'm aware of a cover band in either Brazil or Argentina who have a strikingly similar sound. Some of you may be aware that the multitracks leaked not too long ago, and I think those who had the former decided to promote this cover band and their material as being proper Guns N' Roses material, so as to get themselves back into the pitiful "trading business". Anybody who thought that was Finck bending is insane.

Well I don't understand why he would sing it more faithful to the studio version here but not live (like the DVD's) so I suppose you do have a point there.

That is a real buzz kill. I would fly to Kazakhstan to see them perform this (well!) and I guess that makes me an easy target for fraud.
